Since I last visited in 2019, this hotel has changed owners. This has mostly been for the better. The breakfast area has been expanded, and the carpeting has been removed (Hotel carpeting is usually gross). The breakfast is still not as good as it could be, but there is more seating, so you don't have to wait for a party to leave before sitting down. The exterior could use some work, though - landscaping and such. Also, it's about 1/3 cheaper than it was when I visited in 2019!
I had stayed here this spring. The beds in this hotel are uncomfortable, ice machines don't work, wall paper in the hallways are pealing off the walls, and one of the elevators didn't work. If you are elderly get a room as close to the front door as you can; as you could get lost walking through the long walk around the building. Don't stay here. You know, Wyndham always say that their properties have strict standards, that might be for their time share properties, but they don't make their hotels follow their standards. Don't stay here.
Future apartments as sold an let the outside grow up in weeds an brush. Hallways tore up an dirty. the breakfast is not even average an the remodel colors they used in the rooms is so dark it is depressing. The courtyard looks like a jungle.
This hotel is under construction. The rooms are musty. The hallways smelled of pot. The tv and microwave didn't work. There was a hole in the wall. The faucet didn't connect to the wall at the tub. We were moved to another room which was also bad and had someone staying with a barking dog in the room next door. It was not listed this was a pet friendly hotel. We couldn't get into the room with the key card and had to walk up and down twice. The back doors from the parking lot into the hotel did not appear to lock. When leaving the police had arrived to deal with some issue.
This hotel is run down, FILTHY, rooms are not clean, peeling paint everywhere, hair in the bathrooms, window sills, smells AWFUL, the smell of pot is EVERYWHERE. Barking dogs in a room next to us, after we switched rooms because, among all of the other issues, the bathroom shower faucet was duct taped to the wall! We did not stay, we checked in, and within an hour were checked out. We will NEVER stay here again. I do not recommend it.
The hotel was in a state of repair and the overall look and feel was that it was unfinished and the room that was finished was not great, noisey and just not well put together, overall it seems like it is trying to be put together on a budget, I have stayed and other LA Quinta Inns and WOULD NOT recommend this particular one
They gave away one of our rooms, couldn’t keep my card on file, key cards don’t work consistently, in the process of a remodel. I had to give them my card every day for 6 days. Card was charged wrong X4
One guest had a night job and left her dog in the room to bark all night long. Then they moved the maid in to the room next to us. She had long and loud conversations on her phone using the speaker on her cell phone in Spanish. The door in between the rooms does not cut any noise between them. We heard the late-night conversations until the wee hours past 1 am. I finally turned on the tv to try to drown out the noise of her and the little dog barking down the hall. It was not a restful stay.
Great staff, the hotel has been in renovation and looking forward to its completion especially when the pool is open in the summer, they have a beautiful courtyard for relaxing and playing in the pool as a family it is always a blessing for our family when we have our return visits.
Towels on the floor to block cracks in the door, joke of a breakfast, Water and warm milk, hard stale muffins. The place looks like the getto. It is a SHAME to be listed as a Windham. The check in girl sprayed something all over the lobby and the door as we walked in that is sent me to an asthma attack.
