I haven't been back since covid hit. It was always my go to hotel when in town. I walked in and over a 2 hour time period 3 different staff members greeted me with comments like "it's so good to see you again" "welcome back - it's been a long time" "so glad your back with us - welcome home" Customer service at its best! The room was very clean. I asked for daily housekeeping and they showed up everyday and did a great job. The television had sleep timer - always a plus for me! I was on the 4th floor and the water in the early morning was hot instantly - I didn't have to wait for it to warm up. The biscuits and gravy were delicious! I will always stay there as long as the price meets my company's guidelines!

My families all like the hotel, since it offer an environment and hotel rooms like home. the evening reception is perfect! that will be great if the evening reception is offered during holidays and weekend. the staffs are very friendly and helpful. only one thing is that the front desk receptionist told me that i need to buy my own clothing detergent, while there is free detergent in the laundry room. this is just a minor and not effect the experience! we will come back if i go this city again! highly recommend!

We stay here all the time we are in town. The location is convenient to grocery, restauarants, shopping, and the people we visit, also good freeway access. The staff is friendly, personable and do their best to meet our needs. Breakfast offers a nice selection and their mini pantry is reasonably stocked. The one thing that could be improved is the quantity of dishes, utensils, and pots and pans should be more. I understand that they are probably minimal because some people take them. I personally wish it was more like a library system where you check them out and return them. If you don’t return them a fine is charged on your credit card. One thing I do hate is the Palmolive dish soap, it smells horrible. Another good thing are the laundry facilities, and the front desks has always been able to provide change to operate the machines. We will continue using this particular Homewood in the future. Oh, reasonable prices as well.

All around best hotel experience I have had in quite awhile. I was at a birthday celebration with 13 other family members. We spent a lot of time in the lobby. Fantastic gathering place. They have a boomerang shaped counter with seats on both sides that easily accommodated all of us. Cozy room with fireplace and TV. Great for the first weekend of NFL playoffs. After hanging out in the lobby, what a great room to relax and sleep in. Very convenient to all activities, whether near or far. I will definitely return to Homewood suites Overland Park

We went on a family trip to Kansas City which we do about once a year, and this time decided to stay here instead of Great Wolf Lodge since we were gonna do some exploring on the city this time. The room was nice a spacious with a fireplace. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Only one complaint it seems as the foam padding under the tub was wearing out. The tub squeezed and groaned during showers even for my son who is 60 pounds soaking wet. You can’t stay at a hotel with suites normally very cheaply, but for $450 bucks with breakfast included for 3 nights was very affordable.

Entry into hotel is warm and inviting with a roaring fireplace. The scent that greats you is pure bliss! The room is so spacious. Kitchen is well appointed Complete with a Refrigerator, glass cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. Bedrooms are a great size.

Older house but clean and well-kept. We’ve stayed in newer that weren’t this clean. We had a suite and the bedroom had a ceiling fan so that was very nice. The room temperature was perfect all night long for us. The water was hot when needed. The fridge produced ice after a couple minutes of the ice maker being turned on. The breakfast wasn’t that great and was very minimal. That was really the only downside. We slept comfortable, got a hot shower, and a meal. I understand it changed management very recently and they’re already making improvements so hopefully the breakfast is on their list. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I frequently stay at Hilton properties across the United States. When we travel as a family, we typically stay in Homewood suites because they can accommodate all of us in one room. To put it simply, this is the worst Homewood suites I have ever stayed in. It is about 10 to 15 years beyond its prime. You can tell that they’ve tried to update it but it’s not enough. At this point, they should probably tear the hotel down and start over. Everything in the hotel is worn out. And it feels dirty. I won’t be back and would advise others to stay away.

Our family of five adults stayed in two rooms December 29-31 and was less than impressed with our stay. It’s time to replace the very worn out beds, find linens that actually fit the beds properly and do some caulking. My daughters stayed in room 319. Upon arrival there was a used soap bar and shampoo in the shower and as you can see by the pictures, something bad had happened on one of the mattress. Nobody wants to sleep on a mattress that looks like this. There are too many lovely hotels in the Overland Park area to be staying at a hotel like this.

This hotel is dilapidated and in need of a lot of repairs. The sockets in the room didn't work, and it was dirty. The internet and business computers had intermediate service. There was dried pancake batter, cereal, and syrup in the breakfast area on the countertops and tables. Although you can reserve with a Discover, you are told to use another payment during check-in.

All the beds we replaced in the summer of 2017. They are all the Serta Sweet Dreams Sleeper mattresses as required by the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand. All the full-size sofa sleepers are brand new and were replaced between August and October of 2017 as well.

We have one bedroom suites with two queens and a full size sofa sleeper in the room, but we also have a "FEW" two bedroom/two bathroom suites with two queens in one bedroom and one king in the second bedroom. You'll be able to tell because it's a different price point. Because the bedrooms of the two bedroom suite are on opposite sides of the living room, it's almost impossible to show in a photo.
