I traveled to Overland Park for a weekend of my son playing state baseball. First, the location of the hotel is excellent. It's easy to get to from the highways and is really close to a lot of good restaurants, the ball fields, and other areas of interest. When I checked in, the front desk person was very nice and very informative. She explained the changes in breakfast due to the pandemic and let me know the restrictions of the pool and gym. Once I got all checked in, I was able to get up to my room easily. And what a nice room it was! Super clean, with a long hallway from the door to the bedroom area. I enjoyed that! The TV was on with my name on the screen. AND---this hotel offers you the ability to log into Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services and it will clear out your personal data when you check out. Fantastic! There was plenty of room and I was happy to be able to use the mini fridge to store the cheese I had bought in Alma, KS on my way there. Later, when I returned from going to a baseball game and getting dinner for the night, there was ample parking. I was also able to keep my room cool through the wall mounted thermostat. The bed was firmer than I generally like, but I still slept solid. The bathroom was well appointed with good toiletries (including hand sanitizer!) and very thick towels. I was very pleased! Checkout was pleasant too and a breeze. Overall, I was thrilled by my stay here. It is a place that I would stay again on a trip to the KC area.

From the time we stepped in the hotel I knew the stay would be good. I was greeted warmly and was given a room quickly. The hotel lobby decor is modern and everything was very clean. The room is spacious with a nice size bathroom. The room had been cleaned very well. The beds were soft and comfortable . Even though my room was by the elevator, you could not hear noise once you were in the room. The pool was open, but didn't get a chance to visit. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants near the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay.

The people - the very nice person who checked me in, the night time person (Gabrielle?) and the very fun manager (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name...but she's...hmmm..great), what a great hotel. Modern, clean, nice. The breakfast person was very solid too - made a new oatmeal as they were out.

Just a winner of a Fairfield.

As always, my room was comfortable, well appointed and clean. Given the pandemic, services have been appropriately modified, protocols put in place. Any items a guest may need during the stay are provided for the asking. Breakfast items are "grab and go--" not the same as customary choices. Daily housekeeping is not happening. Staff, as always, are friendly and accessible.

This was my first stay at this Fairfield Inn location. Upon my arrival I had issues at check-in due to something wrong with the check-in computer system or front desk attendant’s operation of the computer system. She informed me that I needed to call my credit card company to verify this purchase, she also told this to the person that tried to check-in while I was calling my credit card company, after of 5 minutes of being on hold with my credit card company, she informed me and the other customer that our cards started working (which was odd). When the operator for my credit card came on the line, she told me there was no issue with my card. This process delayed me from getting to my room for approximately 20 minutes after my arrival. From 11pm through the am hours there were patrons standing directly outside of the hotel, being very loud and could be heard from the second floor. The grab and go breakfast was sparse and had very few food choices. Overall, the hotel was modern and clean, but the previous mentioned incidents detracted from what could have been a great stay.

The staff at this property is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt very safe with the measures they have taken regarding the virus. It was very clean and I liked that housekeeping does not enter your room once you check in. The to-go breakfast was very basic, but it worked just fine for me.

The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars was the size of the room. We were in a king guest rrom (Room 209). It was one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in. It would be fine for a solo traveler or a couple only there to sleep and shower. We were in the process of moving, so we had to operate out of that room for 3 days and it was way too small!

Stayed here for three nights. Location is very convenient to main transportation routes and is located among an area rich with shopping and dining. Plenty of parking with gas station adjacent. Staff was very good and building nice and updated and kept up. Rooms are nice and beds are very comfortable. Only Con that stopped this from being a 5 star review was some trash left in bathroom trashcan from previous guest and same fluid spills in elevator and debris on rug in common hallway entire stay. Don't let this deter you from staying here in any way. I would have no problem returning.

Let me start by saying the room fridges have energy savers so, inside on right side, you need to hit the “snowflake” button. It turns fridge from slightly cool to nice and cold. It goes for two hours. You don’t have to keep hitting it but I’d hit it 1-2 times per day. Hotel was clean, well kept, comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had 3 egg dishes, a potato scramble, oatmeal, usual bread items, waffles.

Good hotel with clean and nice rooms. We did not have any issues, until our first night. At 4am, loud neighbor started blasting their TV, which woke us up. Reached out to front desk few times. First call, we were told they will call the room and ask to quite down. 10minutes later gave second call since the noice remained. Were told by the lady at the front desk that she tried to call but nobody answered, we asked if we can get someone come to our floor and check it out, she agreed. We saw a front desk person coming to our floor few minutes later and listening to the door next to us where the noise was coming from, did not do anything and walked away. 10 minutes later I came down to the front desk myself to check on the status of the request, since sleep was not an option any more. Was told she knocked on their door and nobody replied. We asked if there is anything else that can be done, were told we can knock on their door ourselves and express our concern, I walked away.

Stopped here 1 night on a road trip from Dallas to Minneapolis based on the reviews and price. We were not disappointed. Very clean, all staff wearing masks, nice comfortable room. Friendly front desk staff. Also took advantage of the bar and got a beer to go with the take out BBQ that we got nearby at Q39. We would return again to this hotel.
