Room smells, floor not sweep hair and dead bugs, WiFi sucks poor connection, shower ceiling mold( need replace or fix whatever cause it) tv too small and too far from bed unable to read close caption and not enough plug outlets, last the phone in bathroom hmmm not in regular room.
I found the manager to be very nice. the room was okay except for the a/c barely blowing cold. Good thing a storm came thru and i was able to open the window for some cool air. I chose this place because it advertised truck parking. Not much at all close by to eat.
I called repeatedly, trying to reach the hotel manager Mr. Bhargav Patel to resolve a reservation issue. He never returned any of my calls over a multi-week period. If this is the way he runs the hotel I'd never stay there nor would I recommend anyone else would either. His lack of action and consideration for guests tarnishes the solid reputation of Choice Hotels as they're associated with this very poorly managed franchise. Shame on me for not reading all the other numerous poor reviews, had I done so the reservation would have been made elsewhere.
After my partner and I spent $1000 with Mr. Patel at EconoLodge. He realized we were homeless and homosexual. His demeanor towards us became condescending and rude. I feel Mr. Patel is a bigoted, caste-system practitioner. I will never spend another dollar here.
From the first phone call, customer service was exceptional. Lisa was even nicer in person than she had been on the phone, placing us in a room that perfectly met our needs. Owner checked us in and was sincerely appreciative of our business. Nothing fancy but property has been freshened up in the last couple of years with new furniture, flooring & granite counters in the bathroom. Our room, a standard double, was very clean. Fridge/micro and flat screen TV. Pillow cases & bedspreads had been pressed & had crisp creases & beds had actual fitted bottom sheets. Generous supply of bright white towels. Free wifi with ample signal strength. Light continental available in the morning but if you want a proper breakfast try the nearby 56 Diner. The one thing they lacked was a luggage cart in the lobby. If you want more amenities, be prepared to spend almost twice as much. There are other hotels in the area that will gladly take your money.…
