my husband was telling the front desk that he's deaf he froze not knowing what to do and mumbling as if lazy to speak up . then my husband ask them to write it down, he was puzzling and confused like dumbfound not know what to do. his writing got us misunderstood the number 6 as 4. I was about to take shower but then saw this shower head as if it has not been clean with hard water look like after being used. have two big towels but one washcloth. and last the office chair is wobbling I thought I was about to fall off but barely. so had to sit on the bed. for my laptop to work on.
We had a toilet overflow and it was evening time. We had to plunge our own toilet and mop the bathroom floors because the front desk guy had no other help apparently. The next day we walked to the front breakfast area and the worker told my kids to be quiet - it was 830 on a Monday morning. Not super early and not super close to any rooms either. It was very rude. The pool needs cleaning. The entire pool room needs cleaned. The fitness room machines are very old. This is not a kid friendly hotel. We reserved saying we had three kids and it was accepted, so accommodating families shouldn’t be a problem. Thankfully the other guests here were nice and understood we had kids and were nice to our kids. I wouldn’t stay here ever again.
This is a small hotel on the western edge of KC. The room was very nice, it was good sized, had a fridge, and a microwave. The beds were comfortable as well. Take note that the door to the bathroom leaves very little room to stand aside when you close it. Sagging body parts are in peril to the door knob mechanism! I misread the sign in the lobby about breakfast times. (Weekends 7-10...weekdays 6:30-9:30) So I arrived before they had set the breakfast up. The desk clerk willingly got me the few items I needed. The parking lot is very small with only one way in and out. If you have a large vehicle or trailer you will not be able to negotiate the parking lot. I’d stay here again.
New facility close to interstate. Pool and the all important hot tub. Ample parking. Good overnight stop. No walking distance restaurant. You might want to avoid the rooms proximate to the pool if it's summer or holiday weekends due to kid noise in the pool.
First off, this is a Quality Inn now - It is an older hotel in a convenient location but is in desperate need of a renovation. The pool area is indoors as is the spa and the doors are unlocked both to the pool and from the outside into the pool. The room layout is 'weird'. The air-conditioner is in the corner and blocked by the oversized dresser, so all the cold air is absorbed by it, and the room does not cool sufficiently. There are NO outlets on the one side of the king bed, making it hard to charge a phone or plug in a device. The bathroom doors are too big for the small space, causing you to tetris around until you get in or leave. For a one night stay, it's fine if you overlook those things. Breakfast is hot, good and well maintained.
