Jason Garret is very prejudice, rude, and unprofessional. He hung up on me three times. Once when I called about one of the staff stating I was banned from hotel when I asked for extra towels and snacks that the staff allowed me to retrieve. The second and third time he hung up on me was when I asked for his managers number. Stating both times he doesn’t care about my concerns or inquiries and hung up. He should not be employed by any service related company. I will not stop you until he and his staff are held accountable for their actions. They deserve 0 out of 5 rating.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION ! I stayed here because it was close to Legends and found that my room was dirty which included molded caulking in the bathroom , hair from the previous guest , stains on the walls , towels completely worn out and missing covers on the lights . During these Covid times the last thing you want to see is a dirty room when you check in . Aside from all that upon check out I found that my tailgate had been stolen off my truck overnight while parked directly in front of their building . I then asked the employee working the front desk if they had security cameras and was told no and that “ they are not responsible for any thefts or damages in their parking lot “ . He also confirmed that they do not monitor the property or cover anything with cameras other that the two doors . I then asked for a corporate contact and was told I was already speaking to the GM and he’s the only one who would be handling this . I can tell you now that “ Stephen the GM “ is very unprofessional and absolutely no help . Furthermore when I was still on site ( less than five minutes later ) filling out a police report I then received an email from GM Stephen stating again that they were not responsible for any lefts or damages on their property . I then replied back that my conversation with him was over and I would be contacting his corporate office to address both his rude manner and the theft of my tailgate . Even after I requested to end the conversation with him he sent me another email stating “ he had already emailed corporate and stated that he was not rude to me at all “ then ended with “ good luck “ . Definitely not the actions you’d expect from a GM . I also hold spire elite status with IHG as I travel every week . I can only imagine how they would treat other clients . They have definitely lost my business .

The prepaid reservation I made was on the wrong day. The confirmation notice didn’t list the date. When I arrived at the hotel the next day, they said the reservation had past. The front desk lady said she couldn’t issue a refund and we ended up paying for 2 nights on a 1 night stay. I’ve since tried to contact the hotel several times and I have not been able to speak with the manager. I’ve had 11 stays with IHG this past year, and due to this bad experience I will never stay at another Holiday Inn again.

My family, including in-laws, stayed here a couple days ago and I felt obligated to describe my experience. Firstly, my wife rented the room from booking.com and on their site it said the family suite had a bunk bed style arrangement which attracted our family since we were traveling with multiple children. Once arriving, the hotel informed me that there were no such bunk beds and that we had to call booking.com to remedy that mistake. The assistant general manager also commented that he has had problems with the booking.com site and I should call them and conference call him as well so he can discuss the problems. I feel as if that is something he should follow up on his own, as the assistant general manager, but realized that he had a point. I traveled to KC from over an hour away and was hoping to get into the room maybe a little early (an hour maybe). That didn't happen at all, in fact, the room wasn't even ready by check in time. It all started with us showing up to the hotel and seeing that the lobby had a line waiting with no one helping anyone. Then the assistant general manager (whom I assume was the only one working) showed up and apologized for the wait and just left again for another 10 minutes. In all, I had been waiting in line for about 30 minutes before I was helped. Once I asked if the room was ready, at 4:15 pm aka check in time, I was told that the room was yet to be ready and it would be a max of another 30 minutes. We decided to head to the mall to do some shopping while we waited. We came back an hour later and the room was ready. We rented the family room which was the only one they had there in that style. The carpet was dirty, the toilet was small and outdated, there were ants all over the place. We kicked the AC on and about an hour later, I noticed the carpet was wet around one of the 2 AC units. I called the front desk and the assistant general manager came around and fixed the AC by talking to it in Russian and hitting it a couple times. This doesn't change the fact that the floor now was soaked and because of the water leakage, it smelled somewhat of mold. I was very disappointed but realized there was nothing that really could be done. Also the pool was up and running which was nice but it didn't seem too clean. If it is kept anything like our room I assume the upkeep is lacking as well. Also sadly, the hot tub wasn't hot. It was warmer than the pool but not on a scale to really be considered a HOT tub. There were no towels and I had to use the emergency phone for the hostess to drop off towels for us. My room key cards were hit or miss on when they worked and luckily I had brought 2 out when we were checking out because one would not let me get back in the back door (need a key to get in that door). I came to realize how dirty the carpet in the room was because my 1 yr old spilled something on the floor and I took a towel to wipe it up. When I wiped, believe me when I tell you it came back black. From that point on I told everyone to keep their shoes on because it was disgusting. The room had 3 TVs total and one had a remote that didn't work. It looked as if it was a universal remote that was added after the fact and maybe lost its programming, very frustrating. Lastly, the state of the room was just not good. Some spots looked as if maintenance was done and they didn't do anything to make it look nice, for example, there was a hole cut in one of the walls with a light installed and you can tell they cut the drywall and didn't replaster or anything so it just looked very amateur. The room was a very cool concept, however, it obviously isn't kept in a clean condition and repairs/upkeep is very lacking. When the morning came around, I went to the lobby area to get breakfast and no one was there so I started to get food. Well apparently this was wrong and I was told that someone is to serve us however no one was there when I showed up. This is common to the experience I had when I showed up to check into the room with about 7 families already waiting in line to be serviced. We normally stay at the Marriot right next to the Legends mall and this is the first time staying in this family room at the Holiday Inn. I would not recommend this for anyone and I would def. stay away from this place. Good luck!

We stayed here for one night on our way to our final destination and while the hotel was clean, staff was friends and the room was nice...the beds were terrible!!! We had a king sized bed and my side had a sunken center so there was absolutely no way to get comfortable. While it's a personal preference, the pillow were way too soft. You might as well have been sleeping without one, which is what i did.
