When I booked the reservation, I spoke with Richard who told me we could not get an AARP rate on anything but a room with 2 double beds. When I called to confirm the room a few days before we arrived, I got Richard again who told me we could not get a better deal with AARP. So when we arrived, I was not looking forward to it. Nathan (the mgr) checked us in and when I told him of our issues he upgraded us to a suite with an AARP rate (increase of $7). Very friendly (hold onto him!). We went upstairs and when we came down we asked for recommendations for food. Nathan and Mariah both gave us a restaurant to go to and both were so nice. Breakfast had plenty of food and drinks.but only one person working the desk and breakfast and he was not very friendly. Come to find out it was Richard (who we originally had issues with when making the reservation). The floor we were on had someone smoking pot and it filtered all the way through the hallway. Make Nathan and Mariah happy, they are your saving grace!! If it wasn't for them this review would have been bad

Was told the only room left was a K -NS for $125! desk clerk said that was ONLY room left. We needed a room so we took it. It was a handicap room w/o any counter in bathroom. Where do HCs put their stuff? Room was tiny, shower head leaked (spray in backside). In the morning, the breakfast room had NO forks or COFFEE! How do you run out of coffee in a breakfast room at 7:30 am? Desk clerk said "sorry about that". He will get his paycheck anyway! We have stayed there before but will NOT be back!

Late check in was a snap. Room was clean, plenty of towels. Comfy beds - but found the 1st bug crawling on the carpet. OK. Then, the bathroom door didn't fit right. Could not close it! Saw where others tried, too. Please fix this: room 104. Nice bkfst, good variety. Found the 2nd bug in the bathroom. Overall, I'd stay again though, bugs just tryin' to live like us. Didn't use to pool or jacuzzi. Oh, tight parking spaces.

Although a little expensive for a Sleep Inn, especially in Kansas, this motel is less expensive and has s better rating than the Comfort Inn in front of it with the same owner. It is clean and comfortable and not ran down. The only problems we had was there was no microwave in our room and the only bathroom light is connected to a very loud fan. The front attendant said that some rooms have microwaves so ask for one if it is your need or desire.

This place was clean but there was something that was lacking compared to other Sleep Inns, maybe a remodeling. The breakfast was something I could have done without and should have. The instant eggs were sitting inside a pan of water and the sausage was grey and greasy. Would not recommend staying there, except if you wanted a clean motel below $100 a night. I would not stay there again.
