We are here for a couple of months. Husband has a job assignment near by. Very easy in and out nice wide roads easy out. We have a 45 ft The day we pulled in grass mowed some water spigots have been mowed over. Otherwise nice long level cement pads it seems they only mow once a month so looks a little rough at times. I have seen them here leveling gravel sites so they do maintain just much time between. Park towards back rv park behind a very busy truck stop can be loud. Some times smell strong from cattle food lot up the street. WiFi pretty good if parked near pole. Close to grocery stores town has a very nice free zoo. Nice to take walks on grounds and enjoy animals Sometimes very windy out here but we are in Kansas. No facilities in RV park but you are allowed to use truck stop showers and restrooms.

Avoid this “RV Park” if at all possible! It is not maintained at all! We were just looking for a place to sleep overnight with hookups so our standards were set low, but this place is a mess. We paid for a concrete pull through full hooks ups. We were told to find our site then call back into the store to let her know which site. There were so such sites available. The phone number printed on our receipt was wrong and we had to look it up to call. We ended up parking in a “gravel site” that was really mostly dirt/mud. Some sites had broken hook ups. One had a dead bird that had clearly been there for a while. The site was a muddy mess in the morning after the rain. Office says they are aware the place is a mess but they just check people in. No one monitors or maintains this place.

Spent a overnight here in a motorhome, traveling from South Dakota to Arizona. Registration was confusing, park appearance was sterile, and there were RV's there that looked like trailor park stayers. However, there were nice cement pads for pull-thru stays, and the water/Electric pedestals were clean and functional. Worthy of notice, the RV Park is located adjacent (same drive) to a Travel Stop, with easy to access gas fuel lanes... good fuel prices... and easy access back to Hwy 83.

Dear JimRetired2012, Thank you for staying with us and expressing your views. Many of our guests are long-term due to a lack of local options and yet we pride our selves on cleanliness and comfort. The travel center next door is great for handling our registrations and also in providing services essential to over-the-road travelers such as yourself. We hope you'll consider us whenever passing back through Garden City. Thanks again!

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Colorado. This campground is conveniently located near the highway. A truck stop restaurant, gas station, and store are just across the parking lot. The electric and water hookup locations are in a weird place on the sites. Our hose barely reached. Our stay was only $30, which is a decent price. If you traveling in this vicinity, this campground serves the purpose for an overnight stop.
