The Hut at Wood Pigeon Lodge allows you the chance to stay at a romantic rural retreat where no other offers the same. You have views of the Tongariro World Heritage area and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing from your windows at a location away from the noise of a busy tourist village. A cosy fire treats you on a cool night and the views offers NZ at its best. My promise is that you wont be disappointed.

A group of 11 of us stayed at The Barn for a weekend when we were planning on doing the Tongariro Crossing. While the crossing didn't happen, the accomodation at Wood Pigeon Lodge exceeded our expectations. We arrived late on a Friday night, they had left the lights on for us so

Ausblick Terasse Treehouse - was will man mehr?
Yes we have a washing machine and laundry detergent that you may use at no extra cost. We do not have a clothes drier as we believe in drying either outside on the line on fine days or inside on a clothes hoist, rather than using electricity to dry clothes. There is a clothes hoist for this purpose in all of our accomodation units.

"Go for The Tree House!"
"Loft space (2nd bedroom), will need strong persons to climb ladder. If Working here wifi is not strong BUT was good enough."
"Tree house - not a good choice for elderly and not wheelchair friendly"
"The Barn is a large open space, with two separate bedrooms and many beds upstairs in an airy loft, and there is not much soundproofing. The large beds were very comfortable, but the mattress on the single bed upstairs was in need of improvement."
