A real gem. Great prices, clean rooms and lots of area to walk your pet. Friendly and gracious staff. This is such find I would drive extra to stay here. Love being able to park next to the room door and unload/load with such ease
An older hotel property that is customer oriented. I love that I can park in front of my room. The breakfast area is clean and nicely set up. The room was clean and well-furnished. The inn-keeper is very friendly. I highly recommend this very reasonably priced hotel. I will definitely stay there on future trips as I have occasion to go that way fairly often.
We checked in during a heavy rain storm and you could not have asked for two of the sweetest people to make us feel at ease. We needed three rooms and they got them very close together. Rooms a little musty but opening them up took care of that quickly. Very nice breakfast.
Right on the highway easy to find we drove in there late at night and lady at front desk very courteous. Its a very homey welcoming place. Maybe some updating needed but clean. It was quiet and had a very good hotel breakfast. I took extra apples for road trip. This hotel a nice stop for weary travelers. I slept well, felt safe and very much enjoyed the free breakfast.
This property is very old and it appears the owner/operator is attempting to update the interior and exterior of the property. Beds were clean and comfortable. The room was quie tbut a little on the small size. Micro-wave and refrigerator worked quite well as did the in room coffee. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The pictures of the lobby and breakfast area are good, because of updates. The pictures of the rooms provided by Choice Hotels are out of date. Very good value for the price.
Old motel with zero personality. Inexpensive clean room for a decent night’s sleep. Large wind chime could be heard all night and a train came through around 3AM. Breakfast was horrible with even the ever present waffles tasting like cardboard. Biscuits could be used as hockey pucks. Juice was totally watered down. Only plus was clean and cheap.
The service was friendly and accommodating! The A.C. was turned on in advance and the room was comfortable. There was room to park a large truck. Only disappointment was that there was no functioning pool or restaurant as listed.
Room was spacious and clean; bed was comfortable; newer paint; older sink and tub, but not bad; plenty of light; microwave and refrigerator; very good heating/A/C; very pleasant owners; breakfast adequate, not great. Room was very quiet, but there were not many people at the hotel when we were there. Good location to get to the POW Camp memorial, the Orphan Train Museum and other points of interest in the town.
I stopped here overnight on a long trip to Montana. I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor ratings and that it was pet-friendly. I expected a clean basic hotel that delivered a good night's sleep at a good price, and wasn't disappointed. The hotel catered to bird hunters this time of year, of which there were a few, but it was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom/shower were clean and functional. The hotel staff was very friendly (I believe I spoke with the wife of the owner) and accommodating. I recommend this hotel for a no-frills, economical stay.
After reading other reviews I was pretty skeptical but was pleasantly surprised!! Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Room was nice and clean. Looks like new mattresses- and best of all- no odors!! My husband has severe airborne allergies and he did great. Yes, carpets and fixtures need updating, but the bed is the most important for a great night sleep. And you can't beat the price anywhere. Didn't stay for breakfast- so no opinion. Will definitely check it out again when we pass through.
