Let me start by saying we live in Bolivia and have travelled extensively throughout and my reviews are unbiased and I have lots of accommodations to compare this with especially considering the high price to stay. We were to stay 3 nights in these cabanas while touring torotoro but left after 2. It is 8km out of town over a very rough road but we had our own car so that was ok. The scenery is spectacular with a brillant night sky. Unfortunately at 250bs a night it was certainly not as promoted. It is becoming run down due to lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The rubbish bin in the toilets of the restaurant was full when we arrived and still full when we left despite us being the only occupants of the cabanas the second night and having our own facilities. Breakfast is promoted as included. We asked for breakfast to be ready at 6.30am to allow us to get to the tour office at 7. The first morning it was late and consisted of bread and jam, powdered milk ,coffee and powdered hot chocolate. The second morning it was starting to be prepared at 6.45am and considering the drive to town over a very rough road it was impossible to arrive at the tour office at 7am as arranged. There is a restaurant but despite a menu displayed we were not given an option and brought food that had been reheated. It has the feel of a project run by the local community that everybody had lost interest which is very sad because it had so much potential.
