It is just a fabulous place, the owners transformed the property into a real paradise. The rooms are in stone and each room is different. The breakfast place has a stone roof and is great for bird watching. The staff is very friendly and the town of Igatu is a charming little place.

The Flor de Acucena reflects the vision and creativity of hands-on owner/craftsman Alain. Each unit incorporates an element of the hillside which the pousada occupies. You may wake up to find a car size boulder in your room! The are several areas in the rocks and vegetation to sit and quietly observe the world around you. A delicious, healthy breakfast...

Beautiful, gorgeous. Wish I had stayed more than one night. This place is amazing and I must say that Alain, the owner, has done an incredible job adapting the construction to the natural site. The breakfast was excellent. As for Igatu... I fell in love with this little town.
