Detailed Reviews
Spent a weekend at Kings Pointe to attend a friends wedding. Check in was very quick, and staff friendly and helpful. The elevators here are extremely slow and we took the stairs several times. Nice hotel bar and restaurant, had a midnight snack and drink. Breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and fruit. Restaurant staff good but not cheerful. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and lots of storage. Never enough light in hotel rooms. Very quiet - did not hear any noise from other rooms. The waterpark was busy, but had a blast - several slides, diving boards, and plenty of lounge chairs. Even a concession stand with pizza. Nice walking path along the lake for a morning walk.

We were so pleased with our room size and cleanliness, and we loved playing at the water park! We were only there one night and in the morning, we could not get hot water in either shower or bathtub. Had we been there longer, we would have called to have the problem looked at, but we were in a hurry in the morning and just did not shower before our event. Also, one bedroom in our room was very warm all night and the master was cold. Overall, I would go back and we loved the area, but if we were staying longer, there were some things that could have been better and we would have needed them fixed.

The room I spent over $200 on and the carpets were ripped up and had missing pieces. The water park was fun. The customer services was alright. We asked for extra pillows and it seemed to have bugged the lady who brought it to us. Other than that it was fun. It was a beautiful view from our room to the lake side.

We spent almost a week there with two separate suites for our family, and spent over $3,000, We got zero maid service for four nights, and only after we complained and put all the dirty towels and garbage in the hallway as the management suggested we do. They blamed covid for not providing housekeeping. I saw housekeepers working daily.
When they finally cleaned the room we came back to find they threw away an entire box of family heirloom pictures dating back over 75 years that were on the second bed with a suitcase. They are irreplaceable. In no way could they be confused with garbage. There was little to no garbage in the room, as it was all in the hallway.
When asked to try to find them, they couldn’t find them, then accused us of not having the box of pictures in the room in the first place and denied throwing anything away. Then they told us all the garbage for the day was already compacted.
Nothing was followed up on by them, no attempt to offer us as much as an apology or even acknowledge they did anything.
I traveled for a living for 30 years and have never experienced such treatment, or such a poorly managed hotel at any price , much less a resort hotel were I dropped over $3,000.
Buyer beware.

I would have never stayed at the hotel if I knew that breakfast was not included, what food they did have in the restaurant was terrible and the room smelled stale. Was not worth the $200 we paid. Check in is at 4 pm, park closed at 9 and check out is 11 am

King’s Pointe looks nice from the outside, but once you’re in it’s kinda worn down. Extremely loud if anyone is above you, can hear every step. Only one phone worked in the room. Remote for the tv was worn and torn and only worked sometimes. Service at water park was terrible. They had the staff, but they didn’t use them properly. Was in line for 25 mins with only 3 people in from of me. When I got to the window, two people were standing around and another was sitting on the freezer. Ordered a salad from the restaurant inside the hotel and got 1/4 of a head of lettuce with once slice of tomato and ranch had to cut the lettuce up. Front desk was extremely slow, they were new as only one person knew what to do. Water park was nice though. That’s all I can say. If I got back, I will not order anything from the water park and will not stay at King’s Pointe.

In February I booked a room for my husband and I to take our grandson to the resort waterpark for his 6th birthday in April. When we arrived they had over booked and we had no room. They ended up paying Super 8 down the road to put us up for the night. We did go play in the water park and our grandson loved it. The management gave us a $50 GC that we used the next morning for our breakfast. So while they did try to make up for their mistakes it was still not what we had planned.

This place was a pleasant surprise for a quick little family get away. The water parks are nice and the restaurant was decent. My only suggestion would be that the rooms are tired and outdated & the walls are too thin. For a resort that caters to families, the walls need to be thick so that you don’t hear every screaming child in the room next door.

Budget motel sandpaper tissues and toilet paper. Cheap towels. Cheap desk chair. Cheap pillows. Everything about the stay was poor quality for the price paid. I’ve stayed in similar priced hotels and King’s Pointe is charging the price and not providing the amenities.
Also had a maintenance issue that was never resolved.
Crystal at checkout was rude and didn’t ask how the stay was or offer a thanks for visiting.
The girl at check in was also rude and unwelcoming.

This Indoor Waterpark and Hotel stay was exactly what we were looking for, for a night away with my daughter-in-law and 4 yr old granddaughter.
The weather is to cold to find other things to do this winter, so I called this resort the night ahead and booked us a room for the next day. We live in Nebraska so took the 2 1/2 hour drive to a place we’ve never visited before or had lots of time to research.
1. The check in desk very friendly and we got our room an hour ahead than expected.
2. The room was as explained and very clean, enough room with 2 queen beds. Super comfortable.
3. The indoor Waterpark was perfect for my granddaughter, she enjoyed it all and we also had a blast playing in the pool and using the slides with her.
The concessions staff very friendly, the pool was clean.
We did find a table to set our stuff and eat a snack after some time as others were leaving, it does quiet down with guests around 5, lots of littles playing and lifeguards right there watching at all times.
4. The restaurant perfect, so clean, waitress super nice and no wait times on a Sat night at 6:45pm for dinner.
Food Great (salmon was yummy) and the prices will amaze you!! strawberry Margherita the best I’ve had in sometime.
5. Breakfast buffet inexpensive and enough to pick from. Again, very clean environment snd friendly waitress.
If your looking to get away and have fun with the kids, I encourage going
