I stayed at the Lighthouse while in Storm Lake to see my son who is a student at BVU University. The Lighthouse is a family owned business offering friendly service for their cottage like feel rooms. It is a quaint place offering clean and affordable rooms. The motel is across the street from the waterpark, also a nice park for...

This was the second summer I stayed at The Lighthouse Inn for this conference. It was half the price of the King's Pointe Water Park Resort (Water Park passes can be purchased even if you don't stay at the Resort) that is across the street. Storm Lake is across the street and presents a beautiful view. The walking/bike trail that goes...

This weekend we had my daughter receiving her Bachelor's Degree, so I choose The Lighthouse Inn to stay. This hotel is awesome.. The couple who runs it are very polite, welcome you with great pleasure. It's a very clean hotel. It makes you feel at home staying here and I would stay again and again. Thank you for such a...

The owner (Thayne) was a fantastic host. Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel decor is dated, but clean and functional. An economical choice for business travel. Great access to the walking trails around the lake

Showed up here in the work truck and was greeted by one of the owners. He was very friendly and already had a room set aside for me. Room isn't too bad. Has a flat screen and pretty clean. The A/C blows cold and the bed is comfortable. Definitely would not mind staying here again in the future.

We stayed there with our family reunion and I felt right at home. The owner is very friendly, gracious, and informative. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The rate was acceptable. There is a huge water park across the street as well as a miniature golf course. Very nice attractive town. We would like to go back...

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Storm Lake! I just returned from spending Labor Day weekend at this hotel and it was AWESOME!!!! The owner ---Thayne, was wonderful to work with! When I called to make the reservation they only had one night available so we took a room on that night. I was...

Amenities may be dated but the friendly, family atmosphere, the clean rooms and the affordable price make it the best place in town. I was there for ten days and I never had a single complaint. They have some rooms available with a fridge and a microwave. Government rates are welcome. Even the mattresses are good!

First time staying at this location and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Stayed during the RAGBRAI event and was close to all the action. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

I stayed here two nights during the week of July 6 for work (as a state employee). The room was clean and comfortable, the host/owner was welcoming. The location (across the street from Kings Pointe) is good if you want to walk around the lake. This motel fits into our state employee budget and we appreciate having nice places to...
