Myself & my husband have just spent a wonderful 2 nights at this gem of a B&B. The Old Bakery has been renovated to a very high standard, whilst still retaining original features throughout. As mentioned in other reviews Meryl & Steven are at the heart of this establishment and their hospitality is second to none. Friendly and welcoming without...

How wonderful to receive such an enthusiastic and encouraging review of your stay at The Old Bakery - Thank You. It's always lovely to hear from guests that they have enjoyed their stay and it's particularly nice to hear that you felt completely relaxed and at home. When we started out on this adventure we were asked to sum up...

Stayed for four nights and found everything; room, food, temperature and service faultless. Nice pub with average, but wholesome, food just across the village green. I was house hunting / viewing and was given plenty of helpful tips on the area and and local attractions. Breakfast was fresh and first class with fresh local produce. Snacks and evening drink served...

I love this place so much I wish I could have stayed a fortnight instead of one night! We felt so at home. Everything was perfect, there was no fault to find. Steve and Meryl were great, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back. We were in serious need of a break and this was the best...

I just had to write this review, this place is just the BEST B&B I have ever stayed at. Meryl and Steve are the kindest, most amazing couple, NOTHING is too much trouble. Myself and two friends stayed in the gorgeous Granary Room for two nights. The first night Meryl had kindly booked us into the Burston Crown for a...

The two best B/Bs we have ever stayed in-and we have stayed in many-were Whitepark House in Co Antrim and Atlantic Shore in Bantry. Now here comes a contender to restore the English honour. The main thing to be said is that every effort has been made by the owners to make the Old Bakery the very best it can be.No corners...

We recently spent two nights at The Old Bakery in a large very comfortable room. Although situated in the centre of the village this B&B was very quiet and relaxing. Everything you could want is provided including bottled water and a flask of milk. Meryl and Steven are excellent hosts and cannot do enough for you. Breakfasts are first class...

In a few words - the very best B & B we have ever stayed at. Meryl and Steven are excellent hosts - proffessional yet very friendly. We could not fault the accommodation or breakfasts. We would happily return to the "Old Bakery" and recommend it to many of our fussy friends knowing that they, like us, would enjoy their...

Found this fantastic B&B on the internet. spent two nights there in the Barley room, a ground floor room suitable for those with mobility problems. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, fresh milk in a flask on arrival and when returning each day, extra biscuits available, bottled water for drinking as the tap water was soft. Licensed so...

We stayed in The Granary Room at The Old Bakery from Monday to Friday mid September 2012. The accommodation was superb as was the breakfast.
