I spent a very delightful day at the waterpark located at the Encore Resorts at Reunion. We rented the large cabana, very much enjoyed the water park and loved the very tasty food. Service was excellent. A shout out to Rafael, Alanis and Max at the front check-in desk to the water park (they took such good care of us) and to Julia and her partner (sorry, I forgot your name) who prepared drinks and gave us awesome food service during our entire stay. We had nineteen grandchildren plus adults. It says a lot that everyone, adults, children, all ages, had an AWESOME TIME. And, as a bonus, Jonathon (or John) from the management team took the time to speak with me. Fantastic Time! Thank you !!!

Our accommodation was fine, nice pool , rooms etc, however the location of our villa caused us great problems everyday. We were put on the East side of the complex away from the resort pools, gym, restaurant and reception. To get to them we had to cross what can only be described as a 4 lane extremely busy and fast motorway. As we had children with us, the resort reception were surprised at where we had been located and as you do not find out where that will be until arrival you cant sort it out beforehand. There were villas available on the west side and we had booked well over a year in advance so I don't know why we had been given such an undesirable location. We asked about swopping the next morning (after getting in on a late flight) and were told we could but would be charged a $340 cleaning fee!
The noise of this road is extremely loud and our pool literally backed on to it not to mention it disturbing our sleep.
I would suggest telling people where they will be staying upon booking as we saw two other families having the same issue when they arrived.
Its a shame as the resort and staff were really lovely. Just make sure you specify which side you want to stay on and avoid a dangerous stay.

Encore has had some challenges from the beginning but now it is even worse. When we arrived to our home the pool was dirty and there were other issues with the remotes and the movie room. Someone came out to 'skim' the pool but it was never cleaned. In the age of covid a pool (or anything) being cleaned is a bit concerning. We did end up getting a credit for this but as you can imagine it still put a huge damper in our vacation plans being that the two main amenities at the home were not functioning correctly (pool and movie room). We also tried to go to the waterpark area and found it to be too crowded for our comfort level. The resort is a good concept and has nice homes but it is hard to contact anyone when there are issues and it's hard to get things resolved. You shouldn't have to call a number when you're on property to ask questions or get resolution. The front desk should just be removed if they can't do anything. Our home also had limited dishware and limited means to clean them. This means you need to be prepared to bring your own dishwashing soap or dishwasher tablets along with soap, garbage bags, and other toiletries. Traveling right now during a pandemic still requires lots of patience and flexibility however resorts also have a duty to give customers what they are paying for as well. We did not feel that our vacation experience was worth the money we paid. It will be hard for me to return back here until I see that positive changes have been made.

We really enjoyed our stay. We asked for a four bedroom house and ended up with a 5 bedroom home so that was a huge plus. My girls were happy to get their own rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the pool in our backyard. We stayed in March so we did have to pay to have the pool heated or it was really cold. We only paid for the days we knew we'd be using the pool though. The kitchen cooking items were limited, but it was everything that we needed for all our meals so that wasn't an issue. My girls loved the water park. We went later in the afternoon so we didn't hit the large line when it opened at 11:00. They provide pool towels at the water park, but not at the house so bring your own if you plan to swim at your own pool. On a few days the internet kept going in and out, but they came a fixed it right away. There was a large stain on the master bedroom floor that we asked to have cleaned that was never taken care of, but honestly that is my only complaint. The rest of the house was really clean. The staff we interacted with were all very nice and accommodating and the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay here again!

We rented a HUGE home in this safe gated community. The property was everything that was advertised. Location just off the tollway and close to everything Orlando. Well cared for home, manicured landscaping, awesome pool and hot tub, covered patio and so much more. DBT management was very responsive and even offered service on Christmas eve which we declined preferring no contact after sanitizing everything ourselves. This was a much better option than a crowded hotel filled with unmasked strangers.

I have to begin by saying that the place is very nice. You feel secure and the houses are comfortable.
The experience has not been that good, I believe that Encore has to improve in a few points, and most definitely next time I will rent again using Airbnb some other house.
Yo begin, they have a beautiful pool and pool park, but they close at 17:00. That’s very inconvenient. At that time you still would like to use the facilities. Also the arcade is in the pool part. So no only you can not access the pool, but you can not play ping pong or any other game with the kids. As parents may know that time between 17:00 and 20:00 when you come back from the parks and before dinner you need some distraction for the kids, well at Encore you don’t have it.
The house we rented, an 8 bedroom one, was fine, but as soon as we entered the house there was a coacroch, the “Ambassador” said that they would take care of it, but they never send no one. Also the house wasn’t that clean, it was kind of greasy. At least the kitchen.
The pool area was not as in the pictures, I would say the pool is small.
But the worst part is that they told us that we could rent everything we need at the house, well, we called because we Mercedes a crib and they didn’t have one. Then we called because we wanted a bbq, and they didn’t have one either. So I had to go and buy and crib and a bbq!!!!!!
Also, even been legal in Florida, they dint allow fireworks, so I bought a few, but we were not able to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
It seems like a lot of rules for no benefits. The place is very nice, but you don’t get to enjoy much.

No reservation on books when we got there. Two hours of calls to get it worked out on a fully prepaid vacation house. You will not get pool heat with an RCI exchange. You will also get charged a very large cleaning fee (front desk originally said damage deposit). Never had that on an exchange before nor roaches, but had eight of those to kill too. Had to call pest control. Got kicked out of our own pool mid week to clean it. Not sure why it wasn’t done already. And lastly they re set the door code two days before leaving. Had to leave the back door open when we left to get in. They were unable to fix it in two days. Guest services was less than useful. The pool manager was wonderful though and they run a nice water park.
I know there are many good reviews on this site, maybe they’re owners, but our stay was not well.
This reservation was done through armed forces vacation club. Beware if you are military, your vacation and leave may not go as expected and comes with extra charges

We booked through Marriott Homes & Villas. This was supposed to be an Elite unit. We did not receive an Elite unit.
The house is supposed to sleep 14 people. There were only enough dishes and flatware for about 10 people. Glasses for about 8 and wine glasses for 4. Thank goodness the “owners” closet was open. We found more glasses, flatware and dishes literally thrown in there all over the floor and in boxes. We washed them and were able to add them to our collection.
The unit was missing a baking sheet, oven mitts, can opener, no batteries in the family room remote TV, the knives were useless, our fingers worked better and the pots and pans are just thrashed and destroyed. The frying pan sits at a 45 degree angle when you are trying to cook.
The microwave was missing and we had a tiny temporary one. The dishes did not even fit in it. The kitchen table was very wobbly and it felt like it may collapse at any moment when we used it.
We had 2 large SUVs and you are unable to park in the street or they will tow you and the owner of this unit did not put in a garage door motor, so we could not park in the garage. You could just lift up the garage door with your hands and the door into the house from the garage was unlocked when we arrived. I am glad we noticed that issue.
I feel like this unit was in the middle of getting upgraded and ready for people when we arrived. Encore all suddenly had more people coming and it was like, quick go open up that unit!
We were fine in the unit we were in but there was a big discrepancy between the listing and what we received. Homes & Villas should not be representing this listing as such.
Definitely needs some updating and I am still waiting to hear about our refund for not being in an Elite unit at Encore per the Homes & Villas listing.

We booked this 2week stay through Virgin holidays.The management company was Jeeves.Everything about the 5bedroom villa was brilliant.There were 8 of us staying at the villa We stayed across from the main site where the water park was but found it no problem crossing the main road.The water park on site was excellent for the children and the restaurant though slightly expensive served great food. The garage at the villa had been converted to a games room with air hockey table tennis and football games The only problem we had was when we arrived late afternoon the pool needed cleaning and we contacted Jeeves immediately and they sent out someone the next day to clean the pool.The location is ideal for the theme parks..The villa was spacious and pool and hot tub just right.This was a great resort and a fantastic villa which made for a great holiday

The house was clean. We had a major disappointment with the home boasting a movie theater room but had no sound system. Also, the projector was half installed. How do you have a movie theater without a sound system and a half-installed projector!? The only sound it had was from the projector which was useless. We called several times to Jeeves only to be told someone will contact you back each time with no follow-up. Another deception was the beds in the rooms, you will notice that it is advertising queen beds which are full-size beds. Overall, the house was clean, we enjoyed ourselves despite all the deceptions.

The pool heating may not be necessary come the end of July, that being said, many factors come in to consideration with pool heat (e.g. location, sun exposure, etc.) but end of July I would save the cash and use it somewhere else. Also, there Walmart literary across the street and a target 5 mins away. If you looking to save money go grab the groceries yourself. If you are good with paying the fee, I they both offer delivery services. Hopefully, this helps. Enjoy your trip!!
