We spent a week in this beautiful resort very well taken care of. Unfortunately, we had some health problems but nevertheless we were able to take regenerating baths in this wonderful sea. The resort is run by Egyptians and the entire staff is composed of great workers who always have a ready joke, as is usual of the great Egyptian people. Everyone was very attentive to my personal, dietary and health needs. Special thanks to : Rami (reception), Sherif (guest relations), Mohamed (reception), Saed (room service), the chef, the maitre d', the doctors and the lifeguards, as well as all the waiters and gardeners! Because of my diet I could not taste the typical Egyptian dishes. Too bad!!! I was pleased that the hotel was attended by a considerable number of Egyptian people during the Aid celebration. For a small supplement it is possible to stay in a room with a sea view from which we saw beautiful sunrises. The open-air restaurant in the shade , without air conditioning but with fans has a spectacular view of the pontil and the sea. Animation is almost zero and that is a great thing! Hence : sea, sun, desert and silence ... aaaahhh , let's hope they never build a civilian airport there. We will go back there for diving!…
Spent a couple of nights there .. Its a nice and simple yet sufficient hotel in the middle of nowhere.. it offers a convenient gateway to the wonders of Red Sea. Food is tasty I have to credit them, but don’t expect great variety .. Pools are clean .. Facilities are basic .. Sunsets are wonderful .. we stayed in a very basic rooms but i became aware there are newly renovated ones. Always remember, you are here to connect with nature The dive club inside the hotel is a plus and this is why i went there.. I liked this place and will return for more
Wadi Lahmy Azur is a 3 star hotel but that doesn't matter,as it is special place. This is a hotel for those looking for a beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet and amazing coral reef. The staff at the hotel is very kind and helpful. Hotel manager Sherif took care of the guests like no one else. He talked to guests every day ,asked if everything was ok. I hope we will come back there. Thank You!
We spent a beautiful holiday here you can definitely see the rich underwater life and beautiful beaches I recommend everyone to visit this place Beautiful holiday beautiful staff beautiful place we come back
First of all, I would like to thank the entire staff of Wadi Lahmy Azur . We spent several beautiful days full of experiences and relaxation, which were made more pleasant by the hotel staff with their smiles, jokes and help. I would also like my message and thanks to be passed on, for example, through Sherif Khairy to a skilled and diligent gardener who takes care of this beautiful garden every day on these hot days. I would especially like to thank the staff in the photos who were extremely friendly throughout the stay and always without hesitation helped with everything. For our family I can say that we will still want to return here and once again thank you very much for everything (Habibi)
What a great trip we had. We were invited by the resort as VIP guests. Absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean and tidy. The cleaners were polite and very efficient. Every day our room would be cleaned to a high standard. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Every day we saw the gardeners in the gardens making them tidy and neat. All the staff went above and beyond for every guest and always had a smile on their faces. The food was very very good. The choices were never ending. You had outdoor pizza oven, pasta station, fresh bbq meat, different everyday. Unlimited salad bar, bread bar, pastry and not to mention the amazing deserts. The chef (who’s name I didn’t manage to get) over heard me talking about his amazing mini what we would call pancakes in the Uk. The next evening he knew we were going home and they wouldn’t be available again until after we left actually made my very own bowl and brought them to me the next night. I was literally flabbergasted with the gesture. The massages from Ahmed and Waleed rock who we like to call “magic hands” were out of this world. We had at least 3 each whilst we were there. The quad bikes with Ibrahim were fantastic. 3 hours of quad biking around the desert is a memory we’ll treasure. Very well put together tour along with rose tea watching the sunset. The diving, WOW. The orca club on the resort are amazing. The staff are fantastic, very attentive, friendly and very funny. The trips we went on were magnificent. The house reef was something else. So clear as you can see from the pictures. We saw dolphins off the jetty not too far from shore. We snorkelled with eagle rays, sting rays, different fish species, Napolians and turtles. Trip of a life time and we can’t wait to return. Such a peaceful, calm and relaxing resort but yet full of adventure if desired. Definitely a 5* from us.…
The hotel is really cheap compared to the amazing view it has. We booked a sea view room and it was perfect. Staff at the reception were really nice and welcoming, also the house keeping guy. You can swim in a guarded lagoon or in the open sea with really nice reef. My only issue, which is major for someone who likes food, is that the food was tasteless. There was a variety of dishes in open buffet but really we spend a few days feeling like the trip to the restaurant is the worst thing about it. The hotel also doesn’t have room service and you can’t get a snack before 4pm at the pool side. People working at the restaurant were not very pleasant too. If food was the same quality as the room and the sea I would have given this place 5/5 but I gave them 3/5 because they really can do something better than this.…
My girlfriend and I have just returned from a two week stay here and we loved every moment. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the gardens are beautiful and the 2 pools are clean and a nice size. The location is perfect (at least for me!) very remote and quiet with a beautiful view of the Red Sea. We loved walking the jetty at night to watch the fish on the house reef, speaking of which, it’s a lovely and safe place to snorkel with a variety of marine life. We did some diving with Orca Dive Club and the staff were great and they have a good variety of dive sites on offer. Particular highlights: Snorkelling with dolphins at Sataya - we chose to have a private speedboat and it was an amazing experience. Not cheap but worth every penny. Thanks to our guide Omar! Quad Biking - Definitely do this! Ibrahim is absolutely brilliant and the three hours flew by. Again, worth every penny and something we’d jump at the chance to do again. The staff - They can’t do enough for you, from the cleaners to the catering staff and everyone in between, they are absolutely fantastic. So warm, friendly and welcoming, you’d struggle to find better service anywhere else and they always have a smile on their faces. They are a credit to the resort.…
We had a first floor room in Block B with a lovely view of the sea. The staff were all very friendly and could not be faulted. Everyone from the manager to the domestic staff and gardeners (who worked very hard to keep the gardens looking fabulous) greeted you with a smile. Some of the European food on the all inclusive menu was interesting, but the Egyptian style food was excellent. The service was relaxed but attentive and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
It is absolutely one of the best places in Egypt I've ever been to. Total freedom in case of diving, amazing reef and helpful, friendly people in diving centre. The hotel is well-keeped and surrounding garden is very impressive. We basically had everything we needed to relax. Every single day we were asked if everything is okay and if we were happy from our stay. We felt very secure and gave this hotel another chance this year because of how much stuff cared about us.
