My sister and I were delighted to be guests at this wonderful bed and breakfast back in early September. Our arrival to Oak Meadow Delight was later in the evening and the Boyers accommodated and welcomed us! Tracy gave us a brief tour and showed us our rooms. Both of the rooms were tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Our morning breakfast was delicious, and Tracy even shared one of her recipies with us. We enjoyed their beautiful backyard--fish pond, plants, and birds before having to return back on the road. Thank you Marvin and Tracy!

Tracy and Marvin know how to take care of people. I, along with four friends, stayed here while in a business trip. The meals were superb - her stuffed French toast is to die for. The rooms were spotless. Tracy made sure there was fresh coffee on our floor each morning. It was a delightful smell in the morning. The bathrooms were beautifully kept. There was a clean laundry facility free for our use. It was like being at home. They made sure they attended to each detail. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a walk. Don’t stay in a hotel. Stay here. The rates are very competitive and you get so much more. Thank you Tracy and Marvin. Excellent hospitality.

5-stars, no question. Tracy was an absolute hostess with the mostess! VERY comfortable bed/pillows (and I'm particular!), room was spotless, food was incredible. Just everything about our stay was delightful ~ you will NOT be disappointed!

My husband surprised me with this truly wonderful B&B on our Genealogy trip around the area. So much so we ended up staying an extra night! The warm and inviting hospitality of Tracy and Marvin and "The Lake View" room made us forget we were traveling. I have never been somewhere where I felt pampered from the comfortable bed to the wonderful hot breakfast waiting in the morning! Make sure you enjoy the wonderful quiet surrounding outside by the Koi pond as well! We will definitely be repeat guest when we travel thru the area!! Thank you Tracy and Marvin!!

I stumbled upon this place when looking for a place to stay in Ottumwa and what an absolute gem! The hosts, Tracy and Marv, were so nice. The entire place was spotless (made us feel extremely comfortable during this time of COVID-19), our room was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The grounds are stunning with a beautiful koi pond. If you're ever in the area and even if you live in the area and need a staycation, I highly recommend you stay at the Oak Meadow Delight Bed & Breakfast. I promise you won't regret it!
