We stayed in Stable Cottage for 4 days and it was a great location for us to visit all the Bomber Command areas that our father was part of. The trains were a fascination to my brother in law and the swan on the mill was an extra bonus for me. Stuart our host was so friendly it felt like...

We spent a week in Stable Cottage at Watermill Farm and had a lovely, peaceful time. The location gives easy access to a variety of places, including Lincoln. Stuart, the owner, showed us his steam trains which are obviously a passion of his. We weren't there to see them run so if you can arrange a stay to coincide with...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The surroundings were excellent, very chilled and quiet, a great place to relax. Cottages are very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. Stuart the owner was very helpful and was happy to offer information on any query we had. You do need a car to travel but there are plenty of country...

The cottage was thoroughly comfortable in every respect, with first rate furnishings and equipment. The owner was welcoming, attentive and helpful. We were sorry to have to leave, and look forward to returning.

The cottage was well-equipped, very clean and warm (with underfloor heating). You need a car to get there as it's on the edge of a small village. There's a station about 10 minutes away where you can get the train into Lincoln (takes about 15 minutes). We were glad to get back to the peace and quiet at the end...

We had a short break at Stable Cottage which we really enjoyed. The cottage was very comfortable with all the facilities you could want, the location was ideal for visiting places of interest around Lincoln and the owners were very friendly. We would definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to staying again next year.

What a wonderful experience with most hospitable owners! Beautiful location and very accessible to explore the area. You do need a car to be here though, since there is no public transport at all. Wonderful accommodation with all that one may need. Thanks to the owners for making our stay most wonderful!

I needed to find a place to stay in the area which accepted a dog and found Millside Cottage. I spent four nights there mid week whilst catching up with friends and family in Lincolnshire and absolutely loved my stay there. I stayed last week (early Jan) and was warm and cosy all week despite the gales blowing outside thanks...
