Reasonably priced B&B, not far from Lincoln, BBMF museum at Coningsby, Tattersall Castle etc nice country site in small village with own car park, clean, nice food, comfy bed, friendly family run business, recommended. RAF Typhoons occasionally overhead just adds to the character of the place. Stayed to visit nearby relations and East Kirby airshow.

We called in to this place a few nights ago, we had hungry children with us so stopped for a meal. The menu choice wasn't great but needs must so we stayed. There was 7 of us and I can honestly say every meal came out of the freezer not one was home cooked, my veg was still cold, my... More

I stay in this hotel for the first times and it is very nice and tipical . I found the rooms clean and very nice and comfortable. I like the breakfast with toast and jam. I found a pool table and the free Wi-Fi in the room and the all. The beer was fabolous and i like so much guinness... More

It was like staying with family. You were made to feel welcome from the moment you arrived until the second you left. The Lodge is clean and very nicely presented. A good lcation with views of the surrounding landscape too.

I stayed in this hotel many times. All rooms are comfortable, bright, clean with all the facilities needed for a great night. Great breakfast with large quantities of cereals available. WiFi with good signal, pool table, and a good variety of beers will accompany you before and after dinner. Both Barry & Corrine owners are friendly and always available to... More

We visited for a meal out and a few drinks. Upon arriving we were very warmly greeted by the owners and 3 beautiful dogs! :) There was plenty to choose from on the menu. My partner chose a steak to be cooked medium rare and was perfectly cooked! The atmosphere in the pub was really nice with several locals in... More

This is the second time that I have stayed in this hotel and I would happily stay there again. Although the hotel is slightly off the beaten track it is easy to find with spectacular views of the River Witham on the way in. Being off the beaten track has the added benefit that it is quite with little passing... More

Day four of Felixstowe to Hull cycle ride. Good location for this ride. Room quite small (single bed), clean and tidy, tea making and tv - but not en-suite. Menu was interesting - first time I have had warm pate (was that a ping I heard), mains ok. Beer was good but limited to one. Full English did the job... More

Owners are very friendly and welcoming. The pub and rooms are decorated in an interesting and eclectic style. Downsides are extremely creaky floors in the rooms and very thin walls so lots of noise from other residents. Also the shower was very weak. The main plus is the food. An interesting & varied menu, we had lasagne (delicious), and a... More

Stayed overnight to go to a party in tattershall. Dissapointed that the pub was closed at lunch time as we hoped to get a drink and a bite to eat before being picked up. Room served its purpose. Everywhere was nice and clean. Breakfast was usual fruit juice, cereals and full english and toast. This was satisfactory but we have... More
