This was the only place available, and it is definitely one to avoid. Room was hot, and the AC took a couple of hours to even do any good. Could not open the doo, too many bugs. Windows had no screens. Bed was old and hard, bathrooms need serious upgrading. Whole place could do quite well with a facelift.

This is an average motel. It is old and nostalgic. I could use some updating but the owner won't buy anything to fix it up. Terrible shame that this place has to be in such bad shape. It could be a very nice place if Troy Rath would spend money to update things. If you have a complaint, don't tell...

We pulled into town in the middle of the night, Super 8 wouldn't answer so we went next to the Rath Inn. When I first walked it didn't look bad, needs updating, the air wasn't on and it didn't cool the room down when we turned it on. I took a shower, the water was hot and had good pressure....

We had to have a hotel room for the night, what a terrible and itchy experience. They have fluorescent lights down the front of every room, and it's summer - BUGS!! Any type of flying insect was attracted. I had to swipe away all the insects from the front of our door before we could get in! We had to...

March 10,2013 the Rath Inn was open, with clean room, hot running water, land line phones working, good hot food at restaurant in same lot. That day/eve we drove through a whiteout blizzard from Grand Forks ND with 160 cars and tractor trailers off the road! We are grateful that this Inn was open, we got the second to last...

We approached the building though a maze of bugs pelting us. Made it inside to find the ac cover laying on the floor. Thought a cool shower would help beat the heat. I turned the faucet on and black water ran out. I trying to shut it back off but the valve was stuck and the tub was filling fast....

We stayed here b/c everything else in town was booked. The room was nothing fancy....clean but not the cleanliest. We did find some hair in the bathroom. There was also a pigeons nest outside our tiny window so they were pretty loud all morning. The breakfast was very sad....some waffles, doughnuts and a pitcher of juice. And I think there...
