Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms/beds were very clean. Great rate for a room that included mini fridge, microwave and free wifi. Cons: No elevator to second floor. There were several very large flies in the room. I notified guest svcs about the flies and they had someone take care of it while I went out to dinner....

Thank you for submitting a review to our hotel. I am glad you had a good stay and that my staff addressed your concerns while you were here. I will also have someone repair the door that you were concerned about and again we encourage you to stay with us again. Teresa

Check in went smoothly and the women working the reception desk was professional. Our room was clean, and beds comfortable. The beds have soft cushion tops, and are higher bed from most hotels. We found the beds comfortable. I was disappointed with breakfast. The cheerio cereal had to be an off brand. Our stay was the night of Labor Day...

Seemed like a pretty new hotel. Located on the edge of town. Front desk staff was helpful with restaurant ideas. Nice rooms - beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was just okay. For the price of the room, more selections would be nice.

Cleanliness of the room was not just spotty but was routinely absent. Deep Greasy streaks and thick dust coated the room's TV. The Black hanger closet has discarded plastic bags and a generous layer of dust on the bottom shelf. the coffee machine was not cleaned, a used coffee cartridge was found inside the coffee machine. the toilet rim showed...

Thank you for taking the time to give us detailed feedback of your stay. We plan on using this as a training tool to avoid this experience with any other guests in future. We do our best during the busy season but that leaves no excuse for how your stay went. Management will be looking back on records to see...

No complaints about cleanliness of hotel. That was satisfactory. I do agree w/ other reviewers on misleading pics on hotel site and the overpriced factor. But my main issue is this: Before going out on the lake for a few hours, we left a maid service sign on the door so we would have fresh linens after boating. Upon our...

As discussed via phone and email as stated in the review, we have been in contact about this issue already. I will state again like mentioned before that we are running a business and follow specific procedures when brought to our attention by other guests and staff. Good place to plan family get together. Large lobby and breakfast area worked wonderful for large gathering. Food at breakfast bar was limited, so some people went without! Early risers had to search cabinets for creamers that should have already been stocked. Lighting above sinks in rooms is minimal and be sure to catch the maids or do without the...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are so happy you enjoy our spacious lobby and in the spring, summer, and fall, our patio area is absolutely beautiful. We stayed here a week during the snowy winter and it was pleasant. I was not completely disgusted but it was clean and quiet. The area is nice and close to enough shops etc. The restaurant selection is slim but it's OK. Bad in the other places we've started in the area is one of the best.

Newer hotel in the Iowa Great Lakes region. A bit out of the way, but nothing is too far from anything else here. Decent breakfast, clean comfortable room and a great out-of-season rate. We will be back.

We got "stranded" here because of the blizzard, and it was SUCH an enjoyable time! The hotel is newer, and the rooms looked immaculate. The bedding was nice and clean, and I love that they have the all-white bedding--it makes me feel like dirt can't be hidden. I wish all hotels had these. :) The coffee was great, and the...

We stayed at the Boulders for a school re-union in September 2015. The hotel is new so everything is fresh. I would compare the hotel to a Comfort Inn or Fairfield as far as amenities go. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. As a bicyclists, I found the connection from the parking lot to the trail which runs behind...
