Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Yes, bathroom a little weird with its shower view from the bed! Not a lot of water pressure but got the job done. After two days, only lost about $25, so that's a win at a casino. Didn't know there would not be housekeeping. Security and floor staff friendly. Not a smile or hello or good luck from a single Host or Management staff that I met on the main floors, cashiers or casino. Why? Usually my Hosts elsewhere fall all over me. LOL Was impressed with how clean the casino floors and machines were kept. Miss drink service, but am looking forward to returning.

We live in a state where smoking has been banned in buildings open to the public for more than a decade and were shocked when we found that it is allowed in the main floor casino which also contains the food venues and bar. The smell however permeates the entire facility and is easily detected in the third floor hotel rooms. Utterly disgusting. We won’t be back.

Good hotel, looks like a beautiful golf course but casino is below average. Only a few games open, cater to locals, no drink service, worse casino in Iowa. Ruthies steakhouse worth a stop but don’t waste time on casino floor. Way better casinos in Iowa

Went to grand falls casino to play golf in a charity event on the casino owned golf course. We were treated like kings. The moment we arrived valet met us. We checked in at the front desk in minutes. We were there for one night and the next day of golfing. The night we arrived there was a fabulous cocktail hour with heavy hors douvers. That was incredible. Our room was absolutely the best. King size bed and very big room. Beautiful walk in shower. Etc. the next morning we checked in fir the golf event. Huge breakfast burritos that were the best. We were given a very nice UA duffle bag for each of us. We were a 4 man team. Golf course was spectacular and flawlessly manicured. After golf another buffet of brisket and all the trimmings. Then prizes were awarded. The golf carts had built in GPS and there was a sleeve of Titelist Pro V1X golf balls for each of us. Wow. The charity was a fund raising event for veterans. This was extremely well done. Congratulations to Grand Falls for a spectacular event. Hope to be back next year

House keeping not available!!! Come on now people COVID is over! We own Hotels in Multiple states we clean every rented room every night! We own LaQuinta ,Holiday Inn Express, and Best Western Plus. Not cleaning rooms is a joke! Poor management or poor owners one of the two! During COVID we traveled to our properties and helped clean rooms we still help if the hotel is in a bind . Our GM’s are required to help if we are short staff. Upon arrival no one told us that house keeping was not a option. We asked a house keeper she said we had to ask at check in. We went to the front desk the lady said we have not offered house keeping for three years for stay over guests. I recommend staying one night checking out and checking back in if they are going to be lazy. Wages for staff have increased. Pay to to get the help you need! Also room rates have increased. The is is a nice property. I have read several reviews about house keeping. A clean room is a big deal! I won’t mention what was in my shower. I own a hotel in Sioux Falls we clean every rented room every day!!

Walked through a casino that isn't all that big to begin with and there were so many machines that had chairs leaned forward and no one playing. Of course it is also the most popular machines. Asked a casino floor person about it and they said that patrons show up and lean chairs on their favorite machines so that they can come back and play later. For some reason, they do nothing about it. So if you want to go and play all the machines that no one else wants to play, by all means this is the place for you.

Response from Andrew Graning, Owner at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort

Thank you for your message and bringing this to our attention. Our rule is chairs are only allowed to be tipped up for a 20 min. period and the slot staff is instructed to keep their eyes out for this all day long. Guests are allowed to tip up their chairs to allow them to go to the bathroom, get a drink, food, etc. As a rule, we don’t allow those players to play other machines if a chair is tipped. We plan to talk to our slot attendants and remind them of the rules to prevent this from happening again.

We are currently staying here the first of 2 nights. When we first pulled the valley kid brought us a luggage rack and that was so nice. We loaded up but then no one came back. I was confused as I thought it was valet? I literally left my kids and luggage on the curb and went to park my own car after waiting around 10 minutes. We were the only car there so I wasn’t sure what was happening. This was around 1 pm. We then went to the pool. The outside pool was great and staff serving there was wonderful. However, the dinner Buffett was so discussing. The seafood Buffett was terrible, crab cakes dry, the mussels super over cooked and rubbery, and the Chinese food super dry and over cooked. How do you ruin pot stickers? Also the staff at the front desk was super rude when our card stopped working and wanted an ID but I couldn’t get in the room to get my purse. Also to top it off the showers are open and do not have doors so when you shower the floor gets super wet. My 6 year old just fell and was scream crying from landing on her butt and hitting her head. There is no way to not get water on the ground though as there is no curtains. Also the bathroom door has no lock. Not acceptable when you have kids!

We visited for a event and got a room . We have stayed here before and always enjoyed how how clean it was, but this time you could tell that it was not. Rooms are really lacking the attention they need, dirty bathroom floors, light with burned out bulb. The restraunts food was good but the service staff was not. This place does not deserve a AAA 4 star rating anymore until it gets its act together, we will not be back.

The nicest casino outside of Vegas! Went with a group of 11 gals and shared a suite and 2 rooms. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and the balcony is fabulous! Live band in the middle of the casino was great! Casino guards and all employees were very nice and friendly, besides 1 (Rose) in the bar. She didn't want to wait on us and it seemed like she told the rest of the staff to ignore us also. Patrick saved the day and we had a wonderful weekend.
