Not only is she a wonderful cook and lays out a sumptuous breakfast, but she entertains with stories of her many travels. Bella Vista's rooms are quaint, comfortable and clean...

I spent three happy nights at A Bella Vista B & B and I couldn't have had a better experience. Daissy was the perfect hostess and treated me like family. The room was clean, comfortable and cool; the air conditioning was wonderful during the 90 degree days! True to its name, there is a beautiful view of the Iowa River!...

Gracious and entertaining host, tasty breakfasts, lively conversations with other guests -- and as advertised, an international flavor. Also, and very important to me -- excellent wireless...

We've attending the Iowa City jazz fest for 7 years now and stayed at A Bella Vista each time. It's one of the best parts about our trip. Daissy's a superb hostess and her place is so close to the festival grounds, and other destinations in town like Prairie Lights and John's Grocery.
