We always come here for my son's appointment at the Univ of Iowa. We get a discount for the hospital visit and everything is always clean and tidy. I was a little upset that the hot tub was not working and no one mentioned this on the many phone calls I made, but since we were only there for one...

I've been staying at more and more Hampton Inns while on business travel and have been impressed, so I stayed at this one while on personal travel to visit the hospital. It is a great location, very close to the hospital and to a number of great places to eat. Great looking room, friendly staff, and the breakfast is a...

Stayed here because of location close to the university. Visiting the university on a visit to colleges, if son chooses this school, I can imagine staying here again! Comfortable bed, clean room, great location!

I have stayed at this hotel numerous of times due to the fact that it is very close to the hospital and university. Very nice staff. But I will say that this location does need some updates here. I will say avoid room 320 I'm not quite sure what it was but one of my stays there was a loud...

I've stayed at this location a number of times. It is very clean hotel. The breakfast has various foods with a large enough selection for everyone. I'll continue to stay at this location when in the area.

The staff was pleasant, the decor was cheerful, rooms were clean, and the location was great. The breakfast was good other than one of their coffee brewers was broken so they had trouble keeping up with coffee. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was broken...no bubbles and no heat. When we asked the staff about it, it sounded...

We have stayed here numerous times in the last 2 years when visiting our son & family. Every time we've been here, the staff have been so welcoming and helpful - from the reception desk to the kitchen staff. The rooms have always been immaculate and we have not had to sit at a dirty table at breakfast on any...

This is a Hampton inn not a Hampton inn and suites, there is a difference. This is an older hotel with updates. The standard room has a fridge and microwave and a tiny TV.... Located in a fairly busy area, you can enjoy cars driving by at all hours of the day. Just so you know this hotel is in...

This was an acceptable hotel in a great location for swim meet at U of Iowa Natatorium. Breakfast was great and started early enough for my daughter to eat before meet. Some noise from intoxicated guests arriving late. Our bed mattress probably needed to be replaced.

We would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn - it was busy in the lobby every time we were down there, but the staff always acknowledged and tried to answer questions right away. The workout center is larger and better equipped than comparable hotels, and the pool also. Very nice!
