Detailed Reviews
This is an older, no frills roadside motel. If you are looking for breakfast or a pool - this is not it. Nice helpful owners. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I like being able to walk out my door and having my car parked right in front

A nice family owned place. Quiet and convenient to all of Independence. Whenever we come to visit, we stay here. Fair rates too. The hotel has a pool, however , I didn't use it since it was spring. They have a Hunter's cabin that is perfect for larger families. It has a full sized kitchen.

Cheap enough but feeling tired and worn out. Wi-Fi and everything else worked but no fridge or microwave in room. Benches outside each room is a nice touch. It wasn't busy. I guess everyone is up the road in the Super8. If you just need a bed for the night and nothing much else then stay here as it's 20-30 dollars cheaper than the aforementioned.

I was hesitant, but didnt want to spend much so i did it. They put me in a bare minumum room, almost nothing in there. Not exactly clean. I was afraid to sleep in the bed. No hot water in sink, on and on. I would have lived with all that except for the fact that there was constant load banging coming from the walls. It was apparent to me they had a heating system issue. I left, there were other vacancies and they put me in this room, so they either were intentionally putting me in a crappy room , or they have nothing better. I ended up at super 8 spending another $100. The next day when i called to complain and get a refund the lady was belligerent and kept hanging up on me. HUH? This is how you treat people? Stay Away from this dump!

Traveling with 2 dogs we got hooked for $10.00 per dog. Odd, when they charge for a pet, do they do anything special to clean up the room or is this a money grabbing item by innkeepers? I believe the latter. This is a nice hotel, tho. Has wi-fi, Dorm size refrigerator and microwave in room. Coffee served in the office in the a.m. Boiler heat, when we were here it was not cold enough at night for the boiler to be fired up but, our room was a little chilly. Nice motel just a little expensive for what they had to offer
