Beautiful 19th century Farmhouse and out building all lovingly renovated keeping the orininal features of stone walls and exposed beems. All rooms are independant of the farmhouse with a private entrance. The Backhouse has its own kitchen. The Bake House and Dovecote are furnished with character vintage style and comfort, set in beautiful gardens with stunning views.
We stayed in the bake house cottage at La Belle Âme with our 4month old. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous right down to the last detail. The host Caroline and Tony are true gems, kind friendly and easy going. The food is home cooked and delicious and not to mention the beautiful presentation! And when finding out I was from RSA and feeling a bit homesick Caroline specially made a malva pudding that was spot on and took me straight back home for a moment. The location is a little bit in the middle of no where but stunning with a lovely view over the countryside. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend away! I honestly couldn’t find a fault if I tried we had an amazing time. Thank you!!

Wonderful place to stay for a few days in the beautiful region of Auvergne. Very quiet with a beautiful view. The decoration of the cottage is just superb in every detail with the charm of the past. Caroline, our host, was super kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend to all who are looking to rest and relax, but also for those who would like to hike and bike in the region.

The location, the area all around, the atmosphere, just perfect. Beautiful house, beatiful furniture, all so nice and comfortable. So quiet and peaceful, just make you feel you are in paradise.
The owner, Caroline, is the nicest person one can wish to meet. Always there if you need anything or any help. We felt very lucky that we could get to know her.
And also, for the food connoisseurs, she is such a good cook, a real Chef actually.
We spent their 10 days in June, and we’re sorry to leave. We definitely intend to come again!!!

We have stayed twice and have loved both times. It’s a fantastic escape from the city into nature - we’ve loved our walks in the area picking blackberries, spotting cows and soaking up the sunshine and clean air. The accommodation is so beautifully and comfortably renovated and furnished, allowing the perfect retreat, and the outlook over the mountains in the distance is so pretty and peaceful. Caroline, the host, is very welcoming and the most fantastic cook - yum! I highly recommend a visit. Enjoy! :)

“La Belle Âme” is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. We spent 6 nights there and it was remarkable from the first moment to the last.
Caroline and Toni created such a lovely place, that we could highly recommend. We will come back for sure. The people and the place are just magical.
The view from “La Belle Âme“ is absolutely amazing, you only see nature. The peace and silence there are breathtaking, you only hear nature. The guesthouses are built and decorated with so much passion and love for details. The rooms are absolutely clean and equipped with everything you need.
But the best of all is the hospitality of Caroline and Toni. We didn’t feel like guests, we felt like a part of the family. We enjoyed a fabulous 4-course-dinner every evening, which was cooked by Caroline with so much love and served by Toni or Summer in stunning places. Either outside close to the campfire or inside in the cozy “Duck-Inn”. The included breakfast was also just perfect.
Caroline and Toni really care for their guests. They are always there if you need them and they give you space if you want to relax and be on your own.
There are lots of things to do in the region. We highly recommend the canoeing on the nearby river “Sioule”, a bike ride (free of charge available in the accommodation) or hike in this beautiful part of France and a day trip to Clermont-Ferrand (shopping and sightseeing).
“La Belle Âme” or “The beautiful Soul” is not just the name of this stunning place. This is what you feel.

We stayed here after a very hectic wedding and what a perfect choice it was to thoroughly wind down. With beautiful views and wonderful hospitality, we had a marvellous stay. Caroline and Anton are wonderful hosts without being intrusive and there were a lot of 'little extras' in the house. The four course dinner by the fire overlooking the valley was such a delight to the eyes and the taste buds, we will have to return for more sometime. We can't recommend this property highly enough!

Fabulous place – we have spent GREAT times on their terrace. Love the outside hot tub with the most spectacular view you can imagine. The food cooked by Caroline was to come back for. Very much worth a D-tour!

My wife and I stayed at La Belle Ame for our wedding anniversary and it was just fabulous! The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully done to a very high standard. The garden was charming and the views were just out of this world. It was lovely to have a breakfast in such settings. It’s very quiet there which was just perfect. Now, something we didn’t even expect was Caroline’s culinary talents. It really was fine dining! We eat at the nicest London restaurants and this was just incredible. Every dinner was delicious, fresh and most beautifully presented. The wine was lovely and matched the meals. Sadly, Caroline doesn’t cook on Sundays which actually gave us an opportunity to go to a local restaurant. Well, we were very spoiled at Caroline’s so when we return one day we will make sure we eat at hers all the time! The meals are not only value for money but are really an outstanding experience. Caroline and her husband Tony are a wonderful couple who make sure the guests feel welcome, are not overbearing, just perfect! We Would recommend this place to everyone who wants a little holiday in a countryside but with a touch of luxury.
