Amazing place, great service and staff, great for surfing, remote working (good internet), and just exploring and relaxing. Good food. I definitely recommend this place! You can rent surfboards- tons of surfers there- can relax and keep to yourself or hang out and meet people. They have good music and events with a dj and beautiful structures in the evenings.

Great restaurant layout and excellent meal. Ate here 4 times. Service good, prices moderate to expensive. Unfortunately, ambiance is totally ruined by loud endless electronic bass-rhythm tracks. The owners arrogantly believe that overwhelming the entire length of the beach is acceptable. Truly ruinous of the tranquility that the area has. Tried to convince the manager but the owner’s orders were clear, sadly.

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in December 2022 and loved it. Our room (sunset suite) was a second floor corner room overlooking the beach. A little pricey, but well worth it. Excellent food in the hotel's open air restaurant right on the beach. We found the staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again.

You will never be safe in this place even if you have $300 per night because no lock can close the room from the inside. The people who work there insulted and attacked us. The owner is absolutely crazy woman who treats her guest like they are nobody (((( When we decided to cancel our reservation and leave they began to hit us(((( We had to call the police and instead of having fun and relaxing, we ended up with loads of stress and trouble! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

The room was spacious with a balcony and hammock, A/C excelente. The only issue was the bathroom, spent 2 nights killing roaches, when pointed out to front desk, they gave a poor excuse to the roach issue. Hotel restaurant good very good, bar another thing, very costly drinks and of very poor quality, 3 times they had to redo the mojito for my wife. Surrounding restaurants costly, except for gavilan pizza. If you need to go tonthe super market I suggest going to the town close by, pedasi. You will find things 25% cheaper..

Beautiful location great staff and food. Family friendly but good for young (and young at heart) adults. Music in the evening. And a special treat on Christmas Eve - sea turtle release! Surfers paradise... Fun to watch them and the waves. Good birding too... Nice walk along the beach in the morning Fun shops in town and wonderful restaurants. Be sure to check out Venao Brewing for great coffee and beer....

The restaurant is a construction site and nowhere is it pointed out. So if you like vacationing on the construction site and the construction site noise makes you happy, then the hotel is the right place for you. Complaints and rebookings are not dealt with at all. The whole place is one big construction site and will negatively change the place forever.

Hotel's location on the beach is perfect. Room was large and very clean. Hammock included too as room came with large outdoor space as well. Staff very attentive and friendly. Restaurant had amazing food, really really good. Hotel cleaned their area of the beach. Hotel pool was great too. Nice calm place, we could tell they arrange parties but our time was very calm and relaxing.

Very charming place, everything is handmade with lots of love. Great service, everybody smiles all the time, wonderful food. Also perfect if you are not a surfer. We came with two small kids and loved it, you can relax close to the pool and keep an eye on the kids. There are some other restaurants and shops quite close, should you ever get bored.

this place is so bad! venao is such an amazing place and love venao but el siti0 really takes away a lot of joy from the beach, the service there is horrible they have such a bad attitude and the owner is completely crazy she insults and screams at her customers if she doesnt agree, i have never meet anyone unprofessional in my life. since the new owner came to el sitio the place has become so bad they are so disrespectful and unprofessional, if you are looking for a place with good service and nice people el sitio is not it. the owner is completely crazy about money and that is all she cares about,. gaining money! she treats her customers like they aren't worth anything and she disrespects them so much, speaking from experience myself! and also from stories ive heard from friends and people that live in venao, el sitio really is an embarrassment for playa venao…
