From the time my wife & I arrived on a Friday evening to the time we left late morning on a Sunday, we could not help but be amazed at all that the Hancock House B&B has to offer. From its history to its architecture to its immaculate cleanliness to its awesome view from the Mississippi River bluffs, this house...

This place is just divine. I have stayed twice in the Doll Room, and the soaking tub tucked into the cupola is the just fab--what a great view over the river as you soak your stress away. The food couldn't be better, and Chuck and Susan are the most gracious hosts. You need to stay here.

We stayed in Mr Hancock's room. Very pleasant & provided an awesome view of the area. Chuck & Susan were very welcoming & glad to talk about the house & the area. Wonderful stay. Who could ask for better hosts. A B&B full of wonderful history and a beautiful view over the old town and river, especially at night and the sunrise. The craftsmanship and beauty that has been preserved in the home is a credit to Chuck and Susan. Wow, can't wait to visit again.

Susan and Chuck provided a wonderful experience in their beautiful Bed and Breakfast. If you love Victorians, you'll be in heaven. The details of the house are extraordinary and the hosts are delightful.

We have been to the Hancock house many times over the past 20 years. The Chuck and Susan are the best hosts that you could ask for. We've stayed in just about every room they have but we have our favorites. The library is probably the one we've been in the most times. We would definitely recommend it!

Located on the bluffs providing a stellar view of Dubuque, the Hancock House itself provides a visual treat as you approach with its rounded turret and expansive porch. The entry doors open into rooms that have the most incredible woodwork and trim. Even the doors' hinges are engraved with beautiful scrollwork. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and...

My friends and I spent the weekend at The Hancock House Bed & Breakfast in Dubuque, Iowa. I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and this one is definitely the most beautiful and stunning of all. Every single room is decorated in Victorian elegance. The feather beds, the food, the beautiful antiques, the view of the city and...

What can I add to what's already been said many times over? A wonderful house, lovingly cared for by two of the nicest people you could wish to meet, a great view over Dubuque, excellent breakfast - one of the best B & Bs we've ever stayed at. From the moment we were greeted at the door we felt at...
