My family and I stayed one night. We thought it would be a fun, quick trip before going back to school. I read their policy on Covid and felt like they would be stepping up their sanitation. I was WRONG! The waterpark tables and rafts were NEVER once wiped down while we were in there. I thought our room would be better, nope! The light switches and door handles were dirty. I used a baby wipe to wipe both down and was disgusted how dirty they are. I didn't wipe anything else because I was scared of what I'd find. The doors were visibly dirty, too. My kids wanted to play in the arcade. Nobody was in there wiping anything down once while we were in there. I am very disappointed in my trip and wish we hadn't come. My family hand sanitized and washed hands a lot, but I'm still nervous we're going to get sick. DON'T GO HERE!…
We went just for an afternoon at the Waterpark. The kids liked it, but as a paying adult, the place is overrated. It costs more for adults to get in but the place is designed for kids. So maybe the accompanying adults should cost less? Kind of a dirty, run down, rusty old splash pad more than anything. Does have 3 slides and a small lazy river. Nothing really wrong with the place, just something to think about before packing up the family and driving 230 miles.
My wife and I stayed over the Sunday before Memorial Day. We stayed here because we got a good rate which included grab and go breakfast. We were told that breakfast would be available at 6:30. We showed up at 6:40 and there was no food. The front desk said, "We must be out." Really, at 6:40 in the morning? Poor response on their part. We tried calling the hotel a few hours later to speak with a manager, but no one picked up.
The hotel staff was very careful and attentive. There was a sneeze guard at check in and there were distancing signs at the elevators. Rooms were very clean. Room service was available and the staff helped us find restaurants that were doing curbside pics up.
We Brought our two children for a short weekend trip. They loved the water park. Rooms were decent. We had a river view that was nice. Also have continental breakfast that was ok. Would come back again.
