Check in was slow despite prepayment. Have to sign 3 pages of rules. That was first clue that things aren’t up to standard. The room had a terrible odor ( like old curry). Hotel across from Cracker Barrel so I went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and air freshener. It helped but odor was back in the morning. There was a fly problem. I brought my laptop hoping to do some work but the flies would leave me in peace. Once I killed the flies, I did get some work done. The desk chair was comfortable. The television worked. The room lamps require a push that required more force than it should. My lampshade was torn. The face towels were well worn for hotel towels. They need not worry about these towels being stolen. The water was warm enough to shower but not hot. No variation on the shower head. There was dirt or something around the sink. The faucet for the since was difficult to turn off and so cheap I thought it might break. The microwave was dented but functional. The refrigerator was fine. The bed was extremely firm. I prefer soft and tossed and turned all night. Work up with pain in my shoulder. The ironing board cover was so stained I put a towel over it to iron my clothes. My wake up call was late but I was up since I couldn’t sleep comfortably in that bed. Overall I felt this may have been a good place to stay when I was extremely young and wasn’t in a hotel to rest or sleep and didn’t fear catching things. I will be traveling to the area at least monthly and the won’t be on my list. I’ll spend the money next trip. If you care about your health, I’d keep looking. Seriously.

When I arrived I was told my credit card info would be held as a deposit for amenities. They then removed $50 from my credit card (Debit card)which I have not gotten back. They have no amenities. There is no restaurant there is no bar. (there is only a breakfast buffet with very few offerings and bad coffee. Which was supposed to be included and we did not utilize). There were three people in my party and I could not get three keys without paying an extra five dollars. I asked for pool towels and they counted them. I asked for extra towels in the room and they counted them again They said it WOULD be a PROBLEM if I asked for more TOWELS or didn’t return them. I gave them back their towels and went to my home and got my own towels because we were only wanted to enjoy the pool(cloudy with bubbles on the top) for an evening. During the afternoon there was a birthday party(not ours/ten people babies in diapers- not pool diapers) in the pool area where people enjoyed food at the tables by the pool and got into the pool without washing hands. These people also suggested to my daughter and her friend that they were using up too much of the pool and they should stay on their own side. I got the impression that they were not guests but rather friends of the people at the front desk.(not our original friendly girl) To be fair I did want the cheapest room because we only wanted to use the pool for a day due to heat. So when I booked on Hotels.com I initially wanted a the cheapest room. I believed that when I pressed the “back “ button to modify my reservation that it did not register. I honestly thought I paid the extra ($6) and had paid for an upgrade but that upgrade did not go through. Admittedly, NOT the hotels fault. Totally my fault but I didn’t catch the mistake until I arrived. But when I went to the front desk after looking at the room and explaining our needs (And asking why we were not given the microwave we were supposed to get), I then asked to pay extra for two queens and a BATHTUB with a curtain ) instead of a single king they would not allow me to fix the mistake unless I paid for another additional room. A roll and cot was $20. The reservation never stated that it was a handicapped room with no bathtub. Because we had stayed there on other occasions to use the pool I thought I knew what the hotel would be like so did not call ahead to check amenities but there’s no longer a hot tub there which is why that tub in the room is so important. When the girls get too cold they go in the tub. When I explain this to the front desk they really really were nice about it but did not care, and suggested I purchase another room for the evening. Which in fact I did because I never got my deposit back-but didn’t get the room. The only saving grace for the whole weekend was how friendly and apologetic The morning staff person was. When I told the Night watchman that our television was no longer functioning he shrugged his shoulders and said he would call Mediacom. But all day long there were three Wi-Fi connections and at about 11 o’clock there was only one Wi-Fi that anyone could connect to.I then was forced to use my hotspot to entertain the two 10-year-olds that I was trying to make a special weekend for. After I put the girls to bed I noticed something crawling on the wall. I killed one of them but couldn’t catch the other. So I spent the night staring at the walls and watching over the girls because I couldn’t identify what kind of insects they were. They were not roaches but they were big. I told the girl at the desk in the morning that I left the bugs attached to the wall for their consideration. Still smiling she just said thank you as though it was a frequent occurrence-no surprise at all in her voice Upon getting out of the pool my 10-year-old went to my van and got cleaning supplies ( i’m a home health care provider and always have cleaning supplies for my clients and my vehicle ) She cleaned down the shower before she got into it. I did not tell her to do this, and asked what she got from the van. She said there was no way she was going in there before she cleaned it. There was no curtain so anyone who wanted to shower also held up our bathroom. Our room was very very close to the pool which was very nice. They did have hot waffles for breakfast. The morning check-in checkout person was very nice. And nicely told me there was nothing she could do about any of our problems. When I spoke to a different guest she said that there was a toothbrush on top of her mirror (not hers)There was food (also not hers)in her refrigerator, and her bathroom was not clean. My refrigerator was clean. And my sheets which i usually change when I get to any Hotel were very clean and they DID have TWO mattress covers/savers on the bed which I greatly appreciated. I really thought I was going to be able to sleep on the bed without putting bedding of my own on it until I saw the bugs. The air-conditioner was a window unit that was adequate but if it were any hotter outside would have not done the job. Unfortunately one of our favorite hotels, is definitely a pass from now on. And my only restitution for my $50 is to tell others the story. They turned out really nice weekend into a day where I wish I had stayed home and turn on the sprinkler.

We were in town for a friend's retirement party - we stayed at this Super 8 as it was close to the party venue. We used our Wyndham points to stay for free. The hotel was pretty much standard all across teh board. It was pretty average all across the board. It was clean and quiet, which is better than some Super 8s. I recommend it.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, but could use some gluten free and Keto options. Nice indoor pool. Cracker Barrel restaurant is next door. Clean. Hallways were hot as Hades, but the AC in my room worked great!

We stayed here on the first stop of our cross country trip, the service was great, check in and check out went smooth, both young ladies super friendly. The hotel was clean, you can tell they are revamping it, my only complaint was the breakfast, we picked Wyndham properties to stay at across the country and this was the only one so far that didn't offer lemon water or fresh juice, fresh fruit or muffins, I only remember seeing cereal, toast and waffles
