Noise every where in the public areas on main floor - typical casino. Title says everything regarding the room. Would stay here again if in area. The balance of this is satisfying the nonsense of the review being a minimum of 200 characters. We've stayed in a lot of casinos and Rhythm City is by far the best! Fantastic friendly staff, immaculate rooms and a great casino. Found this Casino late last year and this weekend will be our 3rd trip since there. We are about 3 and a half hours away and have Casinos much closer in Illinois but Rhythm City is well worth the drive!
We enjoyed the resort and casino. Everything is new and clean. Love the decor of the casino. Both won and lost, had fun (especially the winning part). Lots of us ladies loved the 3d wheel of fortune, wish there was a few more of those, so you didn’t have to wait so long to play. Lots of bathrooms and drink stations, good for us seniors. The brunch buffet was good, lots of choices, a few things were a bit dried out. Maybe made to far in advance and reheated. Dinner at Ruthies was another thing. Stuffed shrimp was awful. Hubby’s fish was okay. Shrimp undercooked, couldn’t find the lobster it was supposed to be stuffed with. Drinks, salad and bread were good. The manager didn’t charge for the shrimp. I would give them a second chance in the future. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was a nice weekend stay.…
Only stayed 2 nights, but it was a great stay. Front desk is a little weird, in that it is front and center in the casino portion. Check in was seamless, and very quick. My ADA room exactly as we had reserved. There is vending and ice on each floor, no need to wander around to find it. The room itself was spacious and nicely furnished. We had 2 queen ADA room. Bathroom did not have traditional door, it was a sliding barn door, but still very private. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were fantastic, not those fluffy to flat in 3 seconds ones. TV was wall mounted and a nice size. Some things that a seasoned traveler might appreciate as we do; Real glasses, not the cheap plastic ones, along with real coffee mugs. Coffee maker was the usual Keurig type, coffee packs were actually really good. Bathroom amenities had very nice toiletries and had makeup remover packets along with a dark facial towel, so mascara doesn't stain the white ones. (Why don't all hotels do this?) Bath towels were soft and didn't reek of pure bleach. Nightstand had flexible reading lights, along with cell phone jacks and regular outlets, a nice touch. All in all, the room was very clean. There are 3 restaurants, a pricey steakhouse, a buffet and a bar. Buffet was closed when we were there. We did have a glass of wine at the bar, the price wasn't unreasonable. We didn't get much of a chance to gamble, but a walk through showed a lot of newer slot machines to choose from. The hotel is just minutes from a plethora of chain restaurants to choose from, along with a lot of shopping. We will definitely be booking here again next time we are in the area. Oh, and all the staff we encountered were very nice, with the exception of a hostess at the bar, she seemed to be in quite a bad mood.…
Rhythm City Casino Resort is terrific! We had our daughter’s wedding reception here! The team at Rhythm City made sure it was a day to remember for the couple and their guests. The venue was gorgeous, the food was outstanding, lots of beautifully appointed hotel rooms for guests to stay and the staff was great! Our guests appreciated having so many amenities to utilize during their stay such as the casino, the Spa, Draft Day sports bar. Having everything in one location is so convenient! The location is also ideal and easy for people coming from out of town. Thank you for a great event!
The Hotel is ultra modern and has very comfortable rooms. The casino is very modern (state of the art) with new slot machines- Far more advanced then the Joliet Illinois Casino and very fun. Stayed there for our 37th anniversary on August 9th and we had a great time. Yes we have two casinos here in Joliet but we drove 200 miles to enjoy. Trust me if you are ever in Iowa this is a must see Casino. Thanks for making our Visit Great (Rythum Casino).
We stumbled onto Rhythm City while traveling to another gaming center close by. What a find. Think mini Vegas. Friendly cheerful staff, loads of machines and although we did not stop for a meal people raved about the restaurants. Cannot say enough good things. We will be back.
My wife and I visited for the first time and were amazed at how clean it was and how nice everyone is. Hats off to Andy the best VIP host we have ever had at a casino he went above and beyond, even taking care of our parents who we sent to spend a few day there for their anniversary!!
We were very happy with our choice to stay at this hotel. We stayed in a king suite that was one of the best I have been in. The living room was very inviting. The King bed was comfortable and hard to leave. The little "fireplace" added a nice romantic feel. I enjoyed the tub in the room, the jets really helped with my old age pains! It even had an ice maker, something I have not had before. The machines were paying off, most of the time. One of the nights nothing was hitting, but during the day I was able to walk away with some spending money. during these covid times, I felt safe. I would recommend visiting this hotel
Rob was absolutely wonderful on our last visit to Rythm City. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary this past weekend. He made us feel very special and stayed in a suite. The room was awesome, and included a dining room, living room, separate bedroom with a gas fireplace. How romantic! Rob stopped by few times on the casino floor. It’s because of him we travel 3 hours to get to Rythm City. I highly recommend Ruthie’s on the 6th floor. The food is fabulous! Rob even stopped up to make sure we were delighted with our menu choices. He even gave s an anniversary card! Oh... and I won 2 hand pay jackpots!! Thanks to Rob for making our anniversary a happy and memorable one!
