One of the better hotels that I have stayed in. Plush bedding, great shower, and great lighting all over. Some places fall short on those expectations. Seemed like a new place or had just been updated. It is right on the Missouri River.
We stayed here on our return trip from Colorado. After driving for about 8 hours he was very nice to stay in a safe, clean room. The bed is so comfy...I want one for my home. We also took advantage of the breakfast, it was very tasty. WILL definitely be staying here again.
The room was nice, seemed clean. Front desk staff was wearing a mask when checked in but not the next morning at check out. There was a bucket to toss the key cards but needed to go up to window for a receipt. Even with a glass divider, best practice is to wear a mask when dealing with people in a very public location. The dining room was closed (no complaint about that) but there was a very nice lady at a table (with a mask and gloves) dispensing wrapped hot burritos and other prewrapped foods as requested. Kudos for that idea!
I would have given a 5 star rating, if the gal at the front desk had given me the correct information. We were in town for a family wedding. We were told prior to arriving that there would be a shuttle from the hotel to the wedding destination. When I inquired about it (using the names of the wedding party), the gal at the front desk said, "No, the only shuttle is for the couple whose names are listed here." There was a sheet displayed that had names different from the wedding we were attending. I was a little perplexed and shared my confusion with her. She didn't seem too concerned and neglected to check into it. So, my husband and I went ahead and drove ourselves to the destination, which was about 20-25 minutes away. Later that evening, when were were leaving the destination, we noticed there WAS a shuttle there. Hmmm, we wondered. So, when we returned to the hotel, we found out that the front desk had set out the wrong couple's name that night. The sign they had set out was for a couple that wasn't getting married until the NEXT day. Needless to say, we were a bit disappointed that the correct information wasn't conveyed...and wasn't looked into when asked.…
