I'll start with the positive parts. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was hot and buffet style with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast and etc. it was the same choices everyday but tasty and the lady that works in there was quite pleasant and nice. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable.... More

This hotel is easily accessible from the highway. We enjoyed conversations with the pleasant staff. Our room was comfortable, although the bathtub should have been redone with the rest of the roo. The complimentary breakfast was the best breakfast we've had in our frequent travels.

I got a room to see a show. It was Michigan football weekend so the price was high. Strange TV channels, great bed, bad, tired bathroom. Employees were nice, but after pulling into the desolate parking spot it was hard to be excited to be there

Being my 1st stay at the Clarion Hotel after 12 hours at 3 different airports & 7 flight delays on American Airlines 10-31-2016 I was greeted by a very nice young man the has some great customer service skills & a great attitude that made me feel welcome in my 1st visit to Cedar Rapids, Iowa on business.

We stayed here during an Iowa football game weekend. The hotel staff is great, but the building smells musty and is very outdated. Beds were decent, but bathrooms in tough shape. We paid too much because of a high demand weekend and have few other choices. Breakfast is good, no complaints there. Biggest issue is the odor and outdated building.... More

I was the Group Leader of a Diamond Tour group of 44 people. We only spent the evening of October 8, 2016, but of our 9-day trip, IT WAS THE BEST HOTEL WE STAYED IN! The staff was alert and courteous, the Sports Bar Grill personnel were exceptional, and the experience was awesome. The manager even opened the breakfast room... More

Nothing fancy but the room was clean and breakfast was hot. Within walking distance to other restaurants. It was Sunday, so the hotel's rest/bar was closed. We didn't use the pool. Basic, clean budget hotel.

Our stay here was top notch. Joshua, at the front desk was excellent - the epitome of quality customer service. He even had a bowl of condiments for our leftover dinner! Small details like this make such a big difference when you travel as often as we do. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and I appreciated that... More

The hotel and the hotel amenities were very accommodating! David, Jackie, Bob, Phred, Preston and Spring welcomed you as if they had known you for years. They were all very helpful and quite pleasurable to chat with throughout the evenings. The cleanliness of the hotel was by far above and beyond, as well as all staff members making sure you... More
