We had a really nice stay. The inn is beautiful in a quiet little town. We stayed in the blue room and it was very accommodating. Lynn is a wonderful hostess and made us a marvelous breakfast. We enjoyed visiting with her.

My mother lives in Ida Grove and we are from Indiana. We were looking for a bed and breakfast close by to her. We came across this quaint B&B last year. The owner, Lynne took us for a tour and we told her our whole family would be there; up to 10 people. We booked the whole house for 7 days, and we had 8 people. My sister had the "Rose" room, my son had the "Gold" room, my granddaughters had the "Teal" room, my husband and I had the "Blue" room, and my Cousin had the "Maid's room. Each room had it's own bathroom and each room was decorated according to it's name. It was nice when you woke up in the morning, there was coffee waiting outside our rooms. Then downstairs to Lynne awaiting with more coffee and a breakfast fit for a Queen and King! I am on a special diet so she made me what I needed and had wonderful breakfasts for everyone else. The house was beautifully decorated Victorian with beautiful antique furniture. I especially loved the Rose Room decorated with roses in the drapes, roses on the lamp, bedspread and accents. The Gold room was fit for a King with a beautiful antique headboard, and the blue room has a king size bed and beautiful antiques. We would play different games in the evening, then we would sit out on the beautiful front porch in the evening and it was so very relaxing and peaceful. We have already booked our vacation to see my mother for next year and can't wait to go back. Thank you Lynne and Neil so very much for our hospitality and friendship. You have become like family.

This is the first B&B we've stayed in that we truly felt like we were at home. The house is beautiful in it's own right. Our room was immaculate when we arrived. Each room has it's own bathroom so no sharing or running down the hall! The room was also fully equipped with wifi, cable TV all the modern conveniences you don't want to do without! If there is anything you need special the owner Lynne will do everything in her power to make sure you get it. The breakfast. I could write a paragraph just on how good the food is. There was always homemade cinnamon rolls or some type of muffins every morning plus you get to order what else you would like. The house has a wonderful front porch to sit on and just relax if you like the outside. Lynn is definitely a hostess with the mostest! I will be staying here again! If you're anywhere in the area don't stay at a lousy hotel! Go to The Inn and make it a night or nights to remember!

We visit family in Iowa and Nebraska almost every summer. There aren't many places to stay in the small towns -- and this year we decided to try out The Inn at Battle Creek. We'd never been to a bed and breakfast before. The house was incredible, and the owners were even better! We had an incredible trip down memory lane, too -- as my 88 year old aunt remembered playing with her school friend in the same house -- many many years ago!! In fact - my parents stayed in the same room that they used to play in as youngsters! We felt like we were staying in our own very comfortable house. Breakfasts in the morning were plentiful and delicious. Even my 9 year old son loved the accomodations - saying that the "bed and breakfast experience was awesome"! He particularly enjoyed the bikes provided that we used to cruise around town! My 9 year old son and I shared the gold room with a queen sized bed and a reasonable (although still small) bath. My parents were in the blue room with a king sized bed and a teeny tiny bath! Thanks for a WONDERFUL experience - we will be back!
