We somehow found Hotel Sladnova, which seems to be in a small town in the middle of nowhere. We had stayed in dreary hotels in the area before, but this time we were in for a pleasant surprise! Hotel Sladovna was lovely and very welcome after a long day driving the countryside. The hotel itself looks especially modern and has a beautiful elevator, nice large restaurant and a big reception area. It was quite busy, maybe because of its wellness center, but it was definitely a bustling place. We were in an annex building and had a spacious top floor room, up three flights of stairs, but worth it for the many skylights and roominess. We had a large king bed and a big modern space with a large and beautifully clean and shiny bathroom. Our biggest complaint was that the bed area was on a raised dais with two steps and no railing. At night this was a disadvantage when heading to the bathroom. Also, although the bathroom was very large, there was no stand or cabinet on which to set toiletries. Minor complaints. Breakfast in the separate breakfast room the next morning was great - what ever one could want - meat, cheese, eggs, bread and pastries and the most delicious coffee machine which could produce any kind of coffee. Also the homemade yoghurt and fruit was quite special. The hotel sits next to what they say is the oldest brewery in Chéchia. The reception area had a case os special and totally unusual gifts such as beer facial cream, beer shampoo, and a large array of such offerings. We would seek out Hotel Sladovna again for sure!…
Very well managed hotel! Spacious rooms, high quality food, experienced staff, excellent wellness facilities. Worth second visit! We stayed in the hotel 3 days/2 nights and were really satisfied with all that this hotel was able to offer!
After a bumpy start, we ended up being satisfied with our stay in this hotel. We booked this hotel because, according to the website (in both Czech and English) the family rooms were supposed to have free air conditioning in the summer. When we checked in, we discovered our family room didn't have a/c. When we inquired at reception, we were advised that there was an error on the website, as none of the family rooms have a/c. The hotel offered us a smaller room with a/c for our kids, while the adults stayed in the original room. Fortunately, it cooled down at night and we were able to open the windows and cool our room enough to sleep. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was good with many choices. We very much enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, and our kids loved the bowling.…
6 of us stayed here on a biz trip in June. It was recommended us by the company we were visiting locally. The hotel was clean and modern and reception quite efficient. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with everything you need really. Two of us had downstairs rooms which with the windows open was too noisey, but with the windows closed too hot.A collegue upstairs had issues trying to adjust the AC to reduce the temperature also. Sadly we only got to use the restaurant and none of the other facilities. The food though was really good and the beer brewed just next door with several choices including non alcoholic varieties (why would you ?). If you are staying in this area, it is well worth staying here, esopecially if you have time to use the other facilities the hotel has to offer.…
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sladovna. It's a lovely hotel in the refurbished old brewery situated right next to Cerna Hora Brewery. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable and very clean and the hotel has a great restaurant with very tasty food and a good selection of local beer. My only reservation was the limited opening hours to the Wellness centre which I really wanted to see, but sadly missed. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
Hotel a penzion Slkadovna najdete hned vedle pivovaru Černá Hora. Hotel and guest house Sladovna is located next to Černá Hora brewery. Staff friendly, helpful, smiling. Accomodation in the pension OK, but the rooms are designed for a larger number of people. For one night it is possible to accept, but for more nights to recommend the hotel directly. Food is excellent, there is nothing to say. For me, I can recommend Hotel Sladovna.
Yes, it is in a busy brewery! The working part is in a new set of buildings a few metres away, quiet and unobtrusive. The old buildings have been stylishly converted and come complete with a fitness/wellness section including a pool and massage services. But the heart of the place is its kitchen, which produces locally styled meals that are superb and reasonably priced. If you want a room for a meeting or private event, there are a range from swish chrome and polished wood, to old brick cellars. The village it is in has little to recommend it, though you can walk up the "Cerna Hora" = "black Hill" behind the hotel to see an old chapel, a nunnery serving as a care home and at the far side a lake. But here you are close to the town of Blansko with its facilties and to tourist attractions in the Moravian Karst like dramatic cave systems. Every traveller knows "the room by the lift/elevator" ... but in this hotel it can be a prime position. On the top floor that little door leads to a large suite on two storeys, The upper level is a circular bedroom with circular bed and a huge jacuzzi. The shape is because it is at the base of the old brewery chimney! The large courtyard includes places for children to play - and a rack of tools for visiting cyclists. Opening onto that space is a roofed but open area to eat or drink if you like to smoke. Beyond that is a bright, attractive dining area. Off to one side is what feels like a wooden hall, where you can eat and imagine yourself in an old hunting lodge. And if you ask for a beer ... there is a fine selection.…
We arrived late this Tuesday. The hotel was more or less fully booked and we were lucky to find a parking lot in the small alley. The check in went smoothly and with big smile. I got a room on the 400-serie. And it was cozy and huge for a double room. Surprised and happy about this. Big bathroom. But. As on many hotels there was no place to hang up the towel nearby the zink. Big zink with a lot of space. Bed was comfortable, with a good selections of pillows. The temperature in the room was for me perfekt. Breakfast. A big selection but I didn’t see any ecological things. Check out with nothing to remark on. A great stay. I will come back and recommend this hotel.
I have stayed at the hotel overnight. Have a very good impression, starting from reservation and ending-up by spa next day. staff is helpful and nice. breakfast is a typical continental buffet with a decent coffee. Really fantastic spa experience. Will come back
We organize bussiness event here. Manager is the most helpful, rooms are beautiful in one word, SPA well prepared and food really tasty. If you need anything to change or whatever-nothing is a problem. If I will organize another event definitely it will be there!
