One of the most relaxing weekends we've had thanks in part to Michelle, the wonderful hostess of the Chestnut B&B! The house was immaculate. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and very accommodating. We would wake up to a delicious breakfast. After exploring beautiful Winona Lake, we would return to our well cleaned room.

The Chestnut House is a very special old home near a village of shops and restaurants right on Lake Winona. We stayed here 2 nights and I cannot recommend this place enough. We had their largest room on the 3rd floor. I could have stayed there a month!! The bedroom was huge. The bathroom was very large and there was... More

We stayed at Chestnut House B & B and loved it! The Innkeeper, Machelle, was a great hostess and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location was great as it was near walking trails that took you down to Winona Lake. We have stayed in South Haven, Michigan... More

Nestled in the heart of Winona Lake is the Chestnut House. This historical property features beautiful wood decor and modern amenities. If you are visiting Grace College or want to relax in a small lakeside town, this is where you should stay. Machelle, the owner of the B&B, is a great host and cooks up a fantastic breakfast! We spent two nights at one of the best B&Bs. The large home has been beautifully restored and very quiet. Michelle, the innkeeper was delightful not to mention a wonderful cook! The breakfasts were so delicious and she willingly shared recipes. She suggested sights in the area and provided pictures of the area during its "rebirth"

The Chestnut House Bed and Breakfast is one of those places where you can feel that you are on vacation and yet feel part of the family at the same time. Each room has it's own bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub and shower. The morning breakfast is out of this world and can be specially designed by preferences. The Hostess,... More

My husband and I were recommended by friends to stay at Chesnut house. I've stayed at b&b's before but this one surpasses them all!! My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend, some place close but far enough away & affordable. The Chesunut House was perfect!!! Exceptionally clean, beautiful, peaceful and so much more. Absolutely beautifully renovated home. We have stayed here numerous times and have NEVER been disappointed. Machelle is an awesome host, her breakfasts are amazing, she is a wealth of information regarding local sites, restaurants, etc. Honestly can't say enough good about this bed and breakfast and the caretakers! And lets not forget the village itself. Great place to wonder and... More

“There are only 4 rooms in the house and the hosts live in a little house next door. All the rooms are well laid out, however if you want to spoil yourself, go for the Chestnut Suite on the top floor, you won't be disappointed!”

“I stayed in one of the two least-expensive rooms, the Cherry room. It was very comfortable for one person and would be plenty comfortable for two -- especially given the comfort and accessibility of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The Cherry room overlooks the quiet street and the side of Westminster Hall on the Grace College campus.”
