Went with a business associate/friend, and had a very pleasant lunch. The facility is comfortably elegant; with an upscale ambiance, one might not expect in a small mid-north Indiana town. Our server, Brandy, was friendly and attentive. The onion soup and lobster bisque were excellent, as were the beets & ricotta salads. Everything was satisfying and tasty. The adjoining hotel and shops are a pleasure to explore before and/or after one's meal. This restaurant is a solid option, for an exceptional dining experience.

The hotel is a very clean hotel. I have to say that the Chinese decore I seen as I first walked to the front desk didn't make sense to me. The bed was big and fluffy and very comfortable and the room was very clean. As I checked out I noticed the POS charge of $15 on my bill. I ask what it was and they said it was for the breakfast voucher?? I said I didn't eat breakfast so remove it. They did with no questions ask but I feel this charge is very deceitful. I imagine no one ever questions it. It looked like one of those hotel taxes that gets stuck on most bills. Why give a voucher if you are charging people for the voucher??? That doesn't make sense at all.

I was in Wabash on business and the company booked me here for the night. The moment I walked into the beautiful lobby and heard soothing music playing, I could feel my blood pressure dropping. My room was absolutely stunning in its restoration to a simpler time, yet had all the modern amenities I needed. I am an early riser, so the next morning I used the sitting area outside my room to get some work done. Definitely a place I will want to stay again when in the Wabash area.

We were in town for a concert at Honeywell and since we live in Fort Wayne we really didn't want to drive home after the concert so I looked around and found this lovely place (really one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in). We got to the hotel about 4:00 pm and our room was ready. It was a very easy check in and we were able to kick our feet up for a couple minutes before we headed to the concert which is only a block away, so convenient. The room was clean & quite large for a standard room. The bed was very comfortable and it was a nice touch to have a Keriug in the room. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. Breakfast voucher was "included" but it appeared on the bill like we paid for it so I am not sure I would call it included. We didn't have time to check out the wine tasting or ice cream but that will be next time, and there will be a next time.

We live in Ft Wayne and our friends live in Indianapolis. We meet half way here for an supurb dinner in an upscale restaurant with live piano music. There is a living room like area for seating and conversation while we wait. And afterwards visit the ice cream and chocolates parlor or the wine and cheese tasting shop. Its all under one roof for an entire evening entertainment. I hope this information helps you plan a trip.
