Nestled within the Notre Dame University campus, the Morris Inn is celebrated for its prime location and inviting atmosphere. Guests have called out the exceptional staff, pristine cleanliness, and stylish amenities, creating a comfortable stay. The entire hotel staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We had many family members travelling from across the country for a family event. The staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous.

My daughter had an event at ND that we had to attend, so we booked for one night just so we could be there for her. Although my husband is an alum, we never stayed there while we were students (in the '80s), so it was pretty exciting to be right on campus. The experience booking online was flawless, but when I tried to check in early (as requested online) the day we were staying, my ADA room was not ready. However, the lady at the desk found other rooms which were immediately available, and I got to choose which floor and which view I wanted, all while retaining the King Sized bed I needed. AWESOME. The view turned out not to be great, but the room was, and it was a blessing to get into the hotel at 12:30 p.m. of the day for which we had reservations. I had also requested a late checkout, so in theory, we could have been there for almost 24 hours. Unheard of, but great that they could be so accommodating to travelers who have to attend various events on campus. The place was filled with young students doing Model UN at ND, as well as many other parents attending the same event we were there for, so it wasn't empty by any means, but there was NO noise problem, and no problem getting the elevator or checking in or out. The only holdup (once) was getting our car from the valet, but since we did this about 6 times over the 24 hours, it's understandable that we hit a busy time once. The valet staff were also angels, since we came and went so frequently, but we never got a fussy word or even a cross look from them. Every one was amazingly polite, I really felt that we had gotten our monies worth, even though it was $200 (with valet and tax) for one night. We did not get room service food, as we wanted to try restaurants in town, but next time we stay, I would try the breakfast. Better than many other multi-star (and similarly priced!) accommodations we have used over the years in other college towns and big cities. Great job, Morris Inn!

It's worth the splurge to stay on campus rather than in town. The accommodations are wonderful and parking is including with your stay. It's an easy walk from the hotel to various parts of campus, which is mostly flat and very picturesque. Staying at night on campus also lets you see fireflies. On a month long road trip, this was the best place we stayed and the comfiest beds. The room was spotless, the staff friendly, and the restaurant surprised me with options for those who abstain from meat and dairy. Couldn't see all of campus due to time restraints and pandemic but if I were to visit again, I would only do so if I can get a room here again.

If you need to travel in these times I highly recommend Morris. It’s clean, it’s safe and they seem to make all necessary precautions. All wear masks correctly and the rooms are taped shut after they’ve been cleaned so that you know you’re going into a clean room.

The rooms are flawless and service was among the best I’ve ever had.

The Morris Inn is hands down the best place to stay for any trip involving a visit to The University of Notre Dame. I wish it were twice as big as it is because at peak times, reservations are nearly impossible. Plan as far ahead as you can and enjoy a comfortable and friendly stay at this on campus gem.

This was our first stay at Morris Inn. We were traveling en route from our 2-month winter stay in Destin, FL. Day 2 of the trip we drove from Nashville, TN to South Bend, IN, where we had booked our room with Morris Inn. We assumed that it would be pleasant to be on the Nortre Dame Campus and stay at the Inn. Exhausted by the longer than anticipated trip from Nashbille to SB, we were overjoyed to find our lovely & quiet King Room waiting for us and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The room was furnished with an handsome Queen Anne wing-back chair and its matching puff ottoman that sat next to an elegant, small 5 sided wooden table. The king bed was dressed with snowwhite damask duvet and matching pillows, plus 3 other fabulous sleweping pillows. Because of the late hour, we ordered dinner in our room from Rohr's Dining on site. The food and wine were excellent, A+. So before retiring we decided to order breakfast in-room. The lox/bagels/cream cheese, capers & small salad were delicious and followed by fresh fruit and a pot of coffee. Peaceful quiet, accompanied by lovely linens and a wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows made for a great night's sleep. One of the nicest aspects of staying at MI is the graciousness and helpfulness of the staff. We look forward to returning next year as we travel to and from Florida.

Staying at the Morris Inn was a real treat! They did a huge renovation, and it was very nicely done across the board. The bathroom in the King Suite was divine as the shower was enormous, and the complimentary toiletries were Gilchrist & Soames, which I love. And the bed... Beautyrest pillow top - was like sleeping on a cloud, with nice crisp sheets, a goose down comforter, and a variety of types of pillows on the bed to choose from for your preference.

Also, had dinner at Rohr's, and that too was fantastic!

When I called to make a reservation, I had some issues getting through on the reservation line. I called back and Nay offered to help me and she was amazing, I had a lot of questions as it was my first time staying there and also had a gift certificate. Nay went above and beyond to make sure our reservation was taken care of properly along with her supervisor Craig. At check in the staff was wonderful and the hotel is beautiful and clean. The bell desk/parking attendants were friendly, helpful and always quick to help while leaving and returning. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had a clear view of the Basilica and Our Lady on the golden dome, it was an awesome sight during the day and at night. When going to dinner at Rohr's I checked in for our reservation and Nay was working the hostess desk there, when I gave her my name she introduced herself to me and said I spoke with you and helped with your reservation, and she was just as wonderful as when she helped with the reservation over the phone. We have a son that attends ND and I will always try to stay at Morris Inn first, I have stayed at many hotels in the area but the Morris Inn is the absolute best!

We had a grand suite for our daughter’s wedding. We also had a bridesmaid luncheon at Rohrs and a farewell breakfast in one of the Salons. The room was adequate, but for the money it would have been nice to have something larger than a mini-frig. Guests were disappointed that Rohr’s closed at 11pm every night so there wasn’t a great after-hours space. And after using the Morris Inn (and a location on campus for the wedding reception) we asked for a case of water for our room after the wedding and were charged $48. Seemed excessive.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and the location can’t be beat!

The Morris Inn staff was very, very accommodating, and the service was excellent. My room was clean, inviting, and the bed was super comfortable. When we needed an extra bath or hand towel,
the cleaning staff was very friendly and brought the items right away. When ordering breakfast in our room, the wait was not long, and the food had the same quality as when we ate in the dining room downstairs. When we did eat in the dining room downstairs our first night, it was a very busy night because of commencement. We ate at the bar, and despite the crowd and noise, we still enjoyed our meal. I was very impressed when a young man tried ordering at the bar, and it was clear that he might have been underage and also under the influence. The bartender took his ID, and it seemed to be fake. She took his food order, but she informed the hostess about his ID. The hostess quietly came and told the man that he had to take his order to go. He agreed, and what could have been an ugly situation was averted. Later, we decided to eat at a local Indian or Thai restaurant. We called the concierge, and he recommended a local Indian restaurant. Just as he said, the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Morris Inn to any family or friends.

Football tickets for 2019 will normally be sold starting in May 2019. Prior to that time, I would call the UND Ticket Office to determine the dates and timelines. They can give you the most specific, correct info. Also, the official athletic ticket resale site for the University is Vividseats. I would concur with contacting the Morris Inn directly for the best advice on reservations. They are very helpful. It is a wonderful venue, good food, good service, nice rooms. Best of luck and what a wonderful surprise it would be! Also, contact with the Alumni Association might provide guidance for a wonderful weekend!
