Clean room that was in a perfect location for a concert at Notre Dame. Room smelled too strongly of air freshener to the point of distraction. Very slow flushing toilet. The pillows we useless and uncomfortable. Very quiet and noise was not an issue. It was an acceptable stay but could have been much better especially for a $300+ night stay.

Travelling solo with toddlers can be tricky, but the service and accomodations at the inn at St Mary's were wonderful and easy. Bell carts easy to grab and navigate, great breakfast made it easy on me in the am.

I had a wonderful 10 day stay at the inn at st. Mary’s. Not only were the staff friendly and overly helpful in my random times of need, they have a starbucks and a fully functioning bar right in the lobby! I was helped at the front desk by a lovely lady named Courtney. My favorite part of this hotel was the bar. Hannah is so amazing at what she does! She’s personable, so friendly and made my stay so much more enjoyable. I was here on business and she pointed out all the best places to eat, hang out and see some sights in south bend. she’s a very valuable asset to this hotel!

What a gem of a find!!! A Starbucks in the lobby of the Inn at St. Marys. Quiet, able to do work, and best of all open to public. The other benefit, wait for it....wait for it its open till 11pm. YES!!!! when all the other places in South Bend are closing at 8pm. Great place for getting the job done and no unnecessary shennigans.

Everything was perfect. This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast was amazing. This was not your typical continental breakfast. The rooms were very clean and quite. The location was excellent.

We were looking for a place in the middle of the night after our reservation for another hotel bailed on us and this worked out great. The people were all very nice and accommodating. A particular shoutout to the older man working the counter in the middle of the night- he was very helpful. We had three kids and a dog and we were able to make it all work. The place is also nice- it has amenities but isn't a chain. Hat tip- the college has a cute little campus and was a great place to walk the dog or just take a walk in general. You just walk down that road it's on and it's right there. Breakfast buffet was good and the man helping was super helpful and friendly. The one complaint I have is that the $75 pet fee is a bit much.

While the room was very nice - especially for our great rate from HotWire - the best part about the Inn at Saint Mary's is its people. It's a little thing but a HUGE thing to me that the staff stop and smile and greet guests, especially the maids when working in the hallways. That's how they do it at the Four Seasons, Peninsula and other top brands - and that's how they have trained the staff at the Inn at Saint Mary's. Everyone was very friendly. The winner of the Best Staff Award has to go to the boy who continually ran around the dining area making sure everything for breakfast was spot-on. It was a very busy Saturday morning and he kept everything clean and organized and the buffet was always filled with food. We found out later he is a high school student! The location is really convenient to Notre Dame and we definitely will return!…

Very nice, clean, friendly staff and good breakfast variety. Felt safe staying there with my kids. There is a Starbucks located in the lobby. The fitness center is nice, but you have to go next door to the Hilton if you want the pool. I would stay again.
