This was our first time staying at this campground and we really liked it. We used the shower house on Pavillon Rd because they were a little more private with 2 shower curtains. The shower was large, decent water pressure and warm water. The campground was clean; level site and Peggy at the office was friendly and helpful. We decided to leave our camper plugged in and walked “downtown” which was 1 mile away. It was an easy walk and we just had to be aware of the horse and buggies which were a pleasure to see. Also along side the campground was a pasture with 2 mares and their foals. We will definitely be back here.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location because we can walk to many shops and restaurants from the campground. This time we asked for a site that backed up facing the horse pasture. Being a horse lover, it was perfect. The campground is clean, quiet and has good showers. The water was a little too hot for me, but I guess it’s better than being too cold. The town of Shipshewana is one of my favorite places to visit.

Everything seemed great until we pulled into our pull thru site. It had rained previous to our arrival & it was like a swamp. We’re lucky we didn’t get stuck. Thank heavens for 4-wheel drive. Also, no discount whatsoever even for a retired veteran.

I have been here for 5 rallies in the past and have been on the planning committees. The first year the manager flat out lied to me about the site I had reserved. Each year we were surprised with more demands, sudden up charges and some of our attendees and vendors being harassed until we finally went to another location. The last year we were there we had over 140 RVs there for a week.

This is a very nice and clean RV park. The sites are very accommodating as we drive a 38ft Class A. This is Amish country and a lovely small town. If, you visit the Blue Gate restaurant is great. Check it out.
We would definitely stay there again.

We arrived after hours and were able to select one of the sites that they had set aside for late arrivals. The process for selecting and payment was very easy. We went in the following morning and requested to stay another week and were able to select the site we wanted. Our site backed up to Amish farms with horses, sheep, cattle and mature trees. Very peaceful and quiet. The park was very well maintained and clean. We were able to take in some of the local sites including museums, shops, and the largest flea market in the midwest in Shipshewana held Tuesdays and Wednesdays with over 40 acres of shops and vendors with everything from crafts, foods plants Etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We reserved a campsite for three nights with Shelia but due to their mistake we were charged for five nights. As we were leaving this was brought to their attention. The only response was " We don't give refunds." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. We were overcharged and then had to file a claim with our credit card company for the overage. We will never stay with them again.

We arrived 35 minutes before check-in and had to pay an early check in fee... even though the park was basically empty. Our campsite was so narrow (as were most) that our neighbor’s sewer connection was under our picnic table and we could not open our awning without hitting our neighbor’s slide ours! Totally a waste of money.

We stayed in site 52 for 2 weeks in our 40 ft 5th wheel. The owner was Daxa was awesome and the staff. We changed sites 2 times before we had the perfect one for us. The place is spotless. We even had to stay at their hotel Der Ruhe Blatz Motel for 1 night while we received repairs on our Cedar Creek. The breakfast was probably one best ever. Clean and well stocked. The Amish area is the best. You do not lack for food and activities close.

Lovely park! Nice spacious green grassy sites with gravel driveway. Fairly level. Utilities were strong. Good & clean public areas - bathroom, open & closed pavilions. Close location to many local attractions.

We attended a rally & they were so accommodating - great place.to hold an event!

We would definitely stay here again!
