What a concept! – putting NON-rustic cabins in a campground. It allowed me to enjoy the campground atmosphere without the discomfort of tent camping. (Rustic cabins are available as well.) My Amish-built cabin (located just a few miles outside of downtown Shipshewana) was clean, comfy and very inviting. I enjoyed sitting on my porch swing listening to the wind blow... More

We stayed in the camping cabins (3 families). $60 a night. There are 5 and they are secluded in their own wing of the campground. They have their own private bath and shower that were very clean. There is a community fire pit for all 5 cabins that is in the field because there are too many trees to have... More

If you're coming to town and want something different than just a hotel room, stay here. It's down the road from town, so you are not IN TOWN, but just a little bit down the road. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, with two beds, bathroom, with sink outside the bathroom, no tub, but nice shower, with a small fridge... More

Stayed here one night on the road. I was most impressed by the workmanship that went into building the cabin. We were set way back off the road and up the hill from the RVs which was nice. The porch had a nice swing and there was a wonderful rocking chair in the room. Bed was comfortable and the place... More

We stayed in the rustic cabins which contain a full-sized bed and bunk beds and a large table with benches. The cabins have AC/heat and electricity along with a ceiling fan. You cannot cook in the cabins, but there is a grill and fire pit available near by. The only negative is that there is only one toilet and one... More

We stayed in one of the log cabins which was very cute. It had everything you need (even a TV and wifi) and was clean. The bed was fine, as was the shower. The place was a little damp. It was small but fine for the one night we stayed and good value for money. Breakfast was minimal. Oh and... More

Stayed for three nights. Lovely campground. Lots of pine trees. Nice showers. The only problem is it is one. We could not get any digital channels on the TV. I guess I needed a satellite. Loved the sound of the carriages and horses as they clop down the highway. The camping cabins are very nice.

Hidden amongst large pines & maple trees this campground is very RV friendly. Pleasant folks welcomed us to our large pull thru site. We have a 45 ft coach so we usually fill sites up. They also have nice cabins made by local Amish Craftsmen. Just a few miles north of Shipshewana, nice & quiet.

My husband and I decided to try something different and spent the night in one of the Amish Log Cabins. On the website it said the price of a night's stay included a continental breakfast! NOT TRUE for a Saturday night stay, but no reduction in price. The cabin itself was spotless and had a swing on the covered porch.... More

We stayed at the North Campground for 3 nights on our way home from Traverse City. The campground was clean with spacious sites. Trees separated the sites which made for a little privacy. Huge open areas to walk your dog. Very close to downtown Shipshewana and the Flea Market. The staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful campground. Stop... More
