Everyday is a Holiday when you stay at Santa’s Lodge. You’ll be welcomed at Santa’s Lodge with a vaulted lobby soaring 37 feet into the Southern Indiana skyline. The hand-hewn timbers are actually from the barn that stood on this same site in 1883. The beautiful cedar and oak wood creates a natural setting for our antique Christmas decorations including our Canadian horse-drawn sleigh! Our year-round Christmas décor and lodge setting will surround you with a sense of warmth and pleasure through our 170 guestrooms and suites.Located about a half mile away, we are the closest hotel to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari, home to three world class roller coasters and the number 2 water park in the world! We have a putt-putt mini golf course and arcade right across the street at Frosty's Fun Center. Our shelter house is located right next to the playground for a great picnic opportunity. Take time in the morning to relax on our deck overlooking the lake while eating breakfast from St. Nick's Restaurant. Our Family suites allow the parents to have a little privacy while vacationing with the kids in addition to giving you a little leg room to relax and spend quality time together.

We stayed here for 1 night only after going to Holiday World. Our room was clean, and large. I booked the room with a microwave and fridge. The staff was very friendly and easy to check in with them. Plenty of parking. It's less than 5 minutes from Holiday World, so very convenient. I would stay here again.

I stayed at Santa’s lodge in Santa Indiana. on the way home to Grand Junction, CO from Binghamton New York. We were supposed to go Holiday World which is a water park and amusement park but we got sick plus it rained. The first thing I liked about this hotel is that it had okay TV channels including Nickelodeon and PBS. Second, I liked that it had a hot tub, and indoor pool, and outdoor pool which were warm. Mom liked that it was across the street from Holiday World; It’s too bad we weren’t able to go. There were a variety of muffins at breakfast. I did not like that you had to pay extra for a fridge and microwave. I give this hotel 4 stars. I would stay here again in we ever decide to go to Holiday World.

The room smelled like old wet cigarettes. The mattress was old and thin. We checked out after a few hours no way we could stay there. The facility is run down. Decorations old. Super disappointed- so much so we paid for another hotel room somewhere else.

Excellent place for families, couples and I would even enjoy it if I went alone! There is a lot to do around the area. The surrounding area has beautiful rolling hills and gorgeous trees. We were able to park close and just wheel our luggage in. Our room was clean and well kept. The microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker worked. The beds were comfortable and clean. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, and outdoor pool. Pool and hot tub were clean and the water felt great. Our favorite part was the catch and release pond. It is stocked with blue gill, bass, coyfish, and lots of turtles. The surrounding deck and gazebo are a great place to sit, relax and enjoy. There is a zip line going over the pond that looks like fun but we didn’t have time to do it. Continental breakfast was muffins, cereal, breakfast bars, coffee and milk. Checkout was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Christmas themed decorations and Christmas trees made the lobby feel welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave.

Very disappointed. We went during the Buffett style Christmas Dinner with Santa. The dinner was a limited buffet with paper plates and Santa didn’t go down every aisle. The food could easily be compared to refrigerator aisle food cooked in a microwave and the desserts were all store bought, therefore not making the price of the event even worth it. Hotel is very musky and staff looks very unhappy to be working there. The best thing there is the pool but unfortunately is very over crowded because there is nothing else. The advertised events are not worth the money, the trip, the hotel stay or the time to actually do something fun with the family.

We had a great time here during our stay, 2 adults and 2kids ages 10, and 11, both kids had a great time they enjoyed the pool and there's a small playground on lot, where they could get rid of some built up energy from the drive there, pools were clean and water was warm and they also liked the hot tub, facility provided free breakfast which we enjoyed, it had actual food not just donuts, biscuits and gravy, sausage and cereal and fruit, it was a nice size complimentary breakfast for free, we were surprised at what all they offered, hotel is older, but our room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful, there isn't an elevator but hotel is only 2 floors so steps weren't too bad, pizza delivery was available in the evening, we enjoyed our stay and will return.

It is not intentional to sound negative, but the price was more than what we stayed at a newer Holiday Inn in a near by city. But unfortunately the hotel was more like a much cheaper hotel. They are charging prices based on the gimmick of christmas and being close to Holiday World, otherwise no one would even think of paying these prices. BTW, many of the photos on the website are from years ago, so do not expect to do ziplining or paddle boats. Also place needs some real TLC. Overall, the staff is pleasant, but we will never stay here again.

We stayed here as a family with 2 boys, 14 and 9. Was excited for the Zipline, paddle boats and pool amenities. The pool only thing open. This hotel was probably perfect in its hayday, now not so much. For the price you pay, would expect a little more cleanliness. The door to our room barely shut, the toilet off balance etc. Will not be staying here again. So much potential wasted.

My 2 small kids loved the sleigh in the checkin area. They had fun. It has an indoor pool and outdoor pool that we’re clean and very worn. The room was clean, but that’s about all I can say. Small changes would have made it much nicer. They could have a great thing going as one hotel so close to Holiday World, but they clearly don’t want to grow or put in any effort. It was a fine place to stay with my kids, but I don’t plan to stay again.

Santa Claus itself is a very small town with very little to do outside of camping and going to the park. Your accommodations will only match that. Santa's Lodge ran me about $200/night. Definitely not worth the price, but again, where else are you going to stay? We had a double room and it was quaint and clean. These days, it's about all I can ask for. The hallways are soundwaves for loudness! People are just not respectful and you can't expect Hotel staff to baby sit them. I don't think it's a hotel issue, but just an issue about respect. With that being said, things would get loud way after bed time and I'm talking 1-2 in the morning, so I don't think I'm being unreasonable. They had a nice breakfast in the morning.... biscuits and gravy, sausage, cereal, yogurt, and muffins. It was included so I really can't complain about the $200 since four of us had a free breakfast. It's a really old hotel, that's really all to it. I will probably stay there again.
