My friend and I have just come back from a fantastic weekend in the Cotswolds. We stayed at Clapton Manor, where the ambience of the accommodation is only bettered by the host's hospitality. Our room was extremely comfortable with small details like nightly 'turn downs', crisp linen and a selection of a huge selection of toiletries really adding a personal...

Karin was lovely. Welcoming and friendly. we were greeted with a gorgeous tea and cakes in front of the fire. the manor is a 17th Century treat. Our room was quiet, away from anyone else, spacious, clean, cosy and with a very comfy bed. Bed even had two sided electric blanket. My other half was in heaven. Great bed and...

We have just spent a fantastic 2 nights here with friends. If you are visiting the Cotswolds this is THE place to stay. Rooms the height of comfort and your own sitting room with log fire. When we returned around 4 pm the fire was blazing and tea and delicious cake ready. The house and gardens are beautiful and Karin's...

Have you ever tweeted your breakfast? I did a photo of mine last week at Clapton Manor. I'm quite fussy about cooked breakfasts but this was that rare thing, a 10/10 experience. Everything else about our 2 day stay was right up there too. I especially liked the sitting room with book-lined walls, a log fire and a drinks tray...

Another wonderful stay, this time we brought my mother too. Karin's warm, friendly and welcoming manner instantly puts you at ease. Our rooms, the beds, the truly marvellous breakfasts, in a word perfect. It sounds strange but having lost my father a few months ago, I wasn't looking forward to my birthday at all. However I knew that staying with...

I spent two nights in Clapton Manor last august, and they have been the two best nights I had in my holidays. Karin made me welcomed in every possible way in her beautiful house. The room is beautiful, the bed is comfy, and after a good night sleep you can enjoy the astonishing view from the window. Breakfast is home...

When we started planning our trip to the Cotswolds from Seattle it was important to us that we find a central location to see as many glorious gardens as time and energy allow. Clapton Manor is literally no more than 30 minutes down gorgeous country lanes to some of the best gardens in the UK. What we hadn't bargained for...

Great B and B in rural Cotswolds. Everything is just perfect. Homemade cake in front of the log fire when we arrived, advice on where to eat in the evening and a wonderful breakfast. Homemade jams and bread, local sausage and bacon all presented perfectly. We'll be back again soon.
