The following review is an excerpt that wrote for a Motorcycle magazine about my trip. The Old Jail Inn Parke County caters to bikers, with a secured garage, a winery, and The 36 Saloon within walking distance of your comfy bed behind bars. The private cells are much better than the county ones some of us have experienced. For those... More

Went to Old Jail In. For a girls weekend. Had the best time ever. Debra and Trina were great hosts. The wine tasting with Trina was a blast. Had so much fun. Debra had some great stories to tell. For those adventurous people there are jail cells to stay in and you never know who or what may visit you.... More

Fun Fun Fun Place! Was looking for something different for my friends 40th Birthday GNO Trip and this place hit the Spot! Very Nice lady that owns the place, she made us feel comfortable and was very welcoming. The six of us ladies had a Blast!

We just happened into this little town while doing a covered bridge tour. Needing a place to spend the night and decided to give the Old Jail Inn a try. We had the best experience possible. Debra is the ultimate hostess!!!! I wish I had been able to stay several days so I could take everything in. The Drunk Tank... More

We thought it was going to be a museum but much to our surprise it if a bed and breakfast inn. Plus a winery. We rode our motorcycle to stop and eat at the Jail Cafe and enjoyed the food. A few yards over is the bed and breakfast inn and it was history made in the making. You really... More

I love staying in different types of places and this was a great choice. You really get a feel for the type of accommodation prisoner had to stay in while the jail was operational but with some upgrades. No this isn't tv's in the room and that would take away from the experience of the jail. You have to have... More

The owner is very welcoming. She is very knowledgable of the area and history of the jail. I loved the winery in the basement, great tastings! Very neat old jail converted into an "inn". Great for a girls trip! Great home made food at the cafe next door, dinner restaurant 1 block away.
