Camped here in 37ft. motorhome. Sites were ok, some shade. Trees need trimming so not to scrape when pulling in. Nice fishing pond, pool on top side, cabins to rent. Below next to the river are more sites, but mostly in Sun. We stayed here while visiting the Creation Museum. Rates were reasonable.

The campground was pretty level and hooking up was easy. Everyone was friendly, even the seasonal ones we ran into. The owner unfortunately passed and the services were being held that weekend, so obviously a lot of activities were cancelled, but in true camping fashion, someone got the hayride going and someone offered a movie on a projector at their... Was asked at check-in whether we wanted peace and quiet or amenities. We chose peace and quiet. Stayed in the back section near the river. Great choice. Early in the week, not a lot of people, Level site, good wifi. Will stay there if we visit the area again.

Arrived at 8:15 and no one in the office. They left my key in the cabin(which was nice). Cabin was nice and just as described. Clean. They wifi can get you by if you HAVE to have it. We have AT&T, so no phone service. Didn't like the fact there wasn't anyone in the office through the routine hours 7am-11pm,... More

This is an extremely family friendly, yet partying campground. Plenty of activities for both children and adults all day and lively nightlife after the children retire to bed. Reservation fees are above average, but I felt that it was worth the cost. Wifi is limited until most people have retired to bed and AT&T cellular service is non-existent.

We are avid weekend campers and camp in a travel trailer. The campground is nice, clean and sites are fairly level. The campground is next to an apartment complex on one side and homes immediately on the other. That was a little troubling and did helped to loose the rustic feeling. There are very few amenities for kids, a single... More

I booked the large cabin many weeks in advance. I called the day we were to show up to make sure our cabin was ready. We had traveled 14 hrs before arriving at 9pm. We walked in and, though the heat had been turned on for us, there were still dirty towels from the previous occupants and the bed, though... More

Traveled there late mid October 2014. We brought a pull behind hybrid camper. Easy back in and hook up. All utilities hook up’s were new. Bathhouse was convenient and clean. Also with us were another 4 couples and their kids. We had in all three campsites with a mix of Motorhomes, travel trailers and tents. Their location was a little... More
