Another great place we found thanks to TripAdvisor. Manuel and Nancy obviously love their place and their roles as hosts and we felt very well-taken-care of. We ended up staying an extra night because we felt so relaxed there. And yes, the breakfasts were indeed amazing -- looking for lunch became an irrelevant or at least much-delayed activity!

We love to come every year. Our favorite home away from home. Manuel and Nancy are beautiful people. So kind and helpful. All the extra touches and thoughtful ways they express their hospitality. Bedding, cleanliness, towels, chocolates, fresh cookies and pop. Nice little touches. The breakfasts are awesome and very filling. The dishes and linens are quaint and beautiful. Manuel... More

Title says it all! House and food were terrific and very close to the park and downtown Nashville. Loved being able to help ourselves to cold or hot drinks and cookies any time! Our hosts were awesome as well!

We were greeted the moment we arrived by the lovely Nancy and were given the grand tour of the place. Each room is beautifully decorated and has all the charm and elegance you would expect from a Victorian bed and breakfast. We had reserved the Maple Leaf room for 2 nights and I have to say that I think we... More

My husband and I came for a quick weekend honeymoon and had an excellent time! The location was perfect, close enough to town but far enough to be away from the crowds. We stayed in the Oak Room and it was great. Very clean, soft sheets/bedding, the best bath towels ever and it had a separate sitting area with Tv... More

This was my 3rd stay here. Breakfast is the best and plentiful. Nancy is a fabulous chef. Sycamore room is cozy and very comfortable. I love the house and the fireplace room. I also love that water, tea and soft drinks are always available. Fire pit outside was nice to sit around as well. Wonderful hospitality. Prices of the rooms... More

My family and I were returning customers to the 1875 homestead, and yet again we were not disappointed! We spent two nights at the B&B and enjoyed our time there very much. Our room was very accommodating and comfortable. The bedding is extremely plush and soft. The towels in the bathroom are very soft and we felt very pampered. Our... More

My husband and I stayed in the Maple Leaf room which was very cozy and comfortable. We both slept really well on the king sized bed. Unfortunately the power went out in the entire town during our stay but the owners were very accommodating and gave us plenty of candles and lanterns - it was like we were really in... More

My wife and I decided to visit Brown County from Cincinnati for a weekend getaway. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we stayed at 1875 Homestead. We weren't disappointed. Our room, the Oak Room, was lovely, large, and comfortable (including the king bed). There was a small TV with basic cable and a DVD player (lots of DVDs available), and the bathroom... More
