Our first time in the Delta and didn’t know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by the Biota Boutique. The property is chic, tastefully decorated, and very clean. Rooms are small but very comfortable with all the amenities. We didn’t spend time in the room anyway, except to sleep. We spent most of the time outdoors on the terrace or by the pool when we were not gone exploring the Delta. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly and Crina the manager was very professional. During our stay we visited The Village House, a school transformed into a museum, the labor of love of a retired local teacher Camelia Ivanov. You need to call and make an appointment, you won’t regret it. Delta has so much to offer we’re disappointed we couldn’t stay longer. When we come back we’ll definitely stay again at the Biota Boutique and enjoy the ambiance and the fantastic food of the cook. Highly recommended.

Tried making a reservation through Booking + Benefit Systems. After making the reservation, Manager Crina Ionescu immediately called me because she could not understand how Benefit works and urged me to cancel the reservation. I assured her that the payment is being made (not even 2 minutes had passed) but she was very rude and unprofessional. Then she called me a second time to tell me everything is ok with the payment and to accuse me that I was not able to explain Benefit to her. Again, really rude and unprofessional. She also threatened to cancel my (entirely paid for) reservation and to take measures because she believes I am going there with "bad intentions". She kept making excuses for her initial instruction to immediately cancel my reservation and when I asked for an apology for her attitude, she blamed it all on me for using Benefit and said I am having a bad day. Very bad experience and I haven't even got there yet.

If a hotel doesn’t show pictures with rooms maybe there is a reason for that. The rooms are the smallest i have ever seen. The “adult only” concept is for this reason, that there is No space in that room for an extra bed. There is No privacy at all because of the two very Close guesthouse that are very very noizy. The food was good without being spectacular The trips they organize are Ok But very expensive. The pool is small But Ok The general design is Ok I don’t think i will return because there are a lot of great places where you pay less

We stayed at Casa Biota Boutique in June 2018. The room was nice and clean. Both the interior and exterior, the garden of the property are very nice and well kept. The food is great, using traditional recipes. Dinner serving is very good. The staff is very friendly. The administrator recommended us, with good level of detail, very nice boat trips (they start from few minutes walking distance from the property). The boat trips were awesome and Andrei provided us a lot of interesting information. We recommend Casa Biota Boutique as a great place to stay while visiting the Danube Delta.

Casa Biota is a small, quite new hotel in the Danube Delta, perfectly placed for boat excursions as the jetty is a three minute walk away. We were immediately impressed by the staff who were exceptionally attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, small but very comfortable and well equipped with stylish modern bathrooms featuring walk-in showers. A simple but delicious breakfast and exclusively fish based meal (cooked on the outdoor grill) in the evening are included and served on the terrace. There is a small outdoor pool (a perfect vantage point to watch the storks in their nests on neighbouring telegraph poles) surrounded by loungers, plenty of on-site parking and an honesty bar. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, we absolutely loved our stay and the service. One suggestion if I may: if you do go on a boat around the delta, opt for a small one. The large 10+ seaters with their huge speed engines seem counterproductive in such a fragile and unique ecosystem. The wonderful team at Casa Biota will arrange whatever you wish.
