Hello there we had a overnights stay here and all the staff were absolutely brilliant. I would stay again and it is a dog friendly hotel we could take the dog’s in the restaurant which we did and had a fabulous evening meal but when it came to the breakfast make sure you stop at a shop afterwards to fill you up as it consisted of 1,sausage 1 rasher of bacon, 1 hash brown 4 mushrooms and a small pot of beans and half a tomato the 1 round of toast was already on the table ( which I have alway had with a full English or had toast and jam after). I did ask for more toast and tea and the staff were more than happy to get it but if it was a couple of bacon and sausage it would be a little better ( but this is me and I like a good breakfast to start the day) There are just a few things I could say about the room if they could update the television into a bit bigger than a postage stamp so that everyone could see it in bed The grounds were lovely to walk the dogs around Would I come again YES I would and hope this pandemic goes away and the hotel gets back on its feet and the full Menu comes back

Gary and his staff were exceptional. In difficult circumstances they did everything to make our trip comfortable, going out of their way to be helpful. The food available in the bar in the evening was well presented and good value. Breakfast was the best we have had anywhere.

This was our first holiday in England and we decided to take the dogs which I was very anxious about to start with as we had never done it. However the staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and made us feel very welcome. Couldnt do enough to help us, dogs were allowed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, both of which were lovely. Absolutely would recommend!

Not only do they have rude staff, none of our booking requirements were honoured and the room they gave us, which was supposed to be a deluxe, wasn’t!! U couldn’t move in there, the bath u could only sit in and no HAIRDRYER!! What hotel doesn’t have hairdryers in their rooms?? No one ever on reception or available to answer the phone and our reservation for lunch on Sunday lunch wasn’t reserved but no one bothered to tell us! Will not be returning!! 😡
