My wife and four kids tayed at Ideal cabins. Stayed in 2013 when they were new, and they are still nice. They have cleaned up the park and tore down the old little junky cabins to put more of the Ideal cabins (trailers) there. Stay on-site and get half price tickets to the park. That save me $113/day. Last minute family get away. Heard the commercials for years about this place so we decided to give it a try. Big mistake on our part. They only had 1 room available. A very expensive room. We stayed in late August and there weren't a lot of people camping that weekend. The sites next to us were empty. The camp sites are narrow and typical of private campgrounds. This USE to be a nice campground but I will never go back there again. None of the rules are enforced. People across from us had 5 large dogs and they would let them poop on other peoples campsites. Office was aware of this but didn't do anything about it. People would party until 2 or 3 in the morning...

Took our kids and grandkids for a 4 day stay at the lake and they spent 2 of the days at the amusement park. A good time was had by all. Rather dated, but still enjoyable. Good value.
